1 Samuel 23

Et David sut que Saül ne cachait pas ses mauvais desseins contre lui ; et David dit à Abiathar le prêtre : Apporte l'éphod du Seigneur.

Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”
