1 Samuel 23

Es wurde aber dem David angezeigt: Siehe, die Philister streiten wider Kehila und plündern die Tennen!

Y DIERON aviso á David, diciendo: He aquí que los Filisteos combaten á Keila, y roban las eras.

Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.

David was told, “Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and are robbing the threshing floors.”

Da fragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hingehen und diese Philister schlagen? Und der HERR sprach zu David: Geh hin, du wirst die Philister schlagen und Kehila erretten!

Y David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré á herir á estos Filisteos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, hiere á los Filisteos, y libra á Keila.

Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and strike these Philistines?” The LORD said to David, “Go strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.”

Aber die Männer Davids sprachen zu ihm: Siehe, wir fürchten uns schon hier in Juda, und nun sollen wir gar nach Kehila gegen das Heer der Philister ziehen?

Mas los que estaban con David le dijeron: He aquí que nosotros aquí en Judá estamos con miedo; ¿cuánto más si fuéremos á Keila contra el ejército de los Filisteos?

And David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

David’s men said to him, “Behold, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

Da fragte David den HERRN wieder. Und der HERR antwortete ihm und sprach: Wohlauf, ziehe hinab gen Kehila; denn ich will die Philister in deine Hand geben!

Entonces David volvió á consultar á Jehová. Y Jehová le respondió, y dijo: Levántate, desciende á Keila, que yo entregaré en tus manos á los Filisteos.

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

Also zog David samt seinen Männern gen Kehila und stritt wider die Philister und trieb ihr Vieh hinweg und fügte ihnen eine große Niederlage zu. Also errettete David die Einwohner von Kehila.

Partióse pues David con sus hombres á Keila, y peleó contra los Filisteos, y trajo antecogidos sus ganados, é hiriólos con grande estrago: y libró David á los de Keila.

So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

Als aber Abjatar, der Sohn Achimelechs, zu David gen Kehila floh, trug er das Ephod mit sich hinab.

Y aconteció que, huyendo Abiathar hijo de Ahimelech á David á Keila, vino también con él el ephod.

Da ward Saul gesagt, daß David gen Kehila gekommen sei; und Saul sprach: Gott hat ihn in meine Hand übergeben; denn er hat sich selbst eingeschlossen, indem er in eine Stadt mit Toren und Riegeln gegangen ist.

Y fué dicho á Saúl que David había venido á Keila. Entonces dijo Saúl: Dios lo ha traído á mis manos; porque él está encerrado, habiéndose metido en ciudad con puertas y cerraduras.

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

Saul was told that David had come to Keilah. Saul said, “God has delivered him into my hand, for he is shut in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.”

Und Saul ließ alles Volk zum Krieg zusammenrufen und gen Kehila hinabziehen, um David und seine Männer zu belagern.

Y convocó Saúl todo el pueblo á la batalla, para descender á Keila, y poner cerco á David y á los suyos.

And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.

Weil aber David wußte, daß Saul Böses gegen ihn plante, sprach er zu dem Priester Abjatar: Bring das Ephod her!

Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”

Und David sprach: O HERR, Gott Israels, dein Knecht hat als gewiß gehört, daß Saul darnach trachtet, nach Kehila zu kommen und die Stadt um meinetwillen zu verderben.

Y dijo David: Jehová Dios de Israel, tu siervo tiene entendido que Saúl trata de venir contra Keila, á destruir la ciudad por causa mía.

Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.

Then David said, “O LORD, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for my sake.

Werden die Bürger von Kehila mich in seine Hand überantworten? Und wird Saul herabkommen, wie dein Knecht gehört hat? Das tue doch, o HERR, Gott Israels, deinem Knechte kund. Da sprach der HERR: Er wird herabkommen!

¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila en sus manos? ¿descenderá Saúl, como tu siervo tiene oído? Jehová Dios de Israel, ruégote que lo declares á tu siervo. Y Jehová dijo: Sí, descenderá.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? LORD, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” The LORD said, “He will come down.”

David sprach: Werden die Bürger von Kehila mich und meine Männer in Sauls Hand überantworten? Der HERR sprach: Sie werden dich überantworten!

Dijo luego David: ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila á mí y á mis hombres en manos de Saúl? Y Jehová respondió: Te entregarán.

Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.

Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” The LORD said, “They will deliver you up.”

Da machte sich David auf, samt seinen Männern, deren etwa sechshundert waren; und sie zogen aus von Kehila und gingen, wohin sie gehen konnten. Als nun Saul angesagt wurde, daß David von Kehila entronnen sei, da stand er ab von seinem Zuge.

David entonces se levantó con sus hombres, que eran como seiscientos, y saliéronse de Keila, y fuéronse de una parte á otra. Y vino la nueva á Saúl de como David se había escapado de Keila; y dejó de salir.

Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.

David aber blieb in der Wüste auf den Höhen und hielt sich auf dem Gebirge auf, in der Wüste Siph. Und Saul suchte ihn sein Leben lang. Aber Gott gab ihn nicht in seine Hand.

Y David se estaba en el desierto en peñas, y habitaba en un monte en el desierto de Ziph; y buscábalo Saúl todos los días, mas Dios no lo entregó en sus manos.

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God didn’t deliver him into his hand.

Als nun David erfuhr, daß Saul ausgezogen sei, ihm nach dem Leben zu trachten, befand er sich in der Wüste Siph, in einem Walde.

Viendo pues David que Saúl había salido en busca de su alma, estábase él en el bosque en el desierto de Ziph.

And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.

Da machte sich Jonatan, Sauls Sohn, auf und ging hin zu David in den Wald und stärkte dessen Hand in Gott

Entonces se levantó Jonathán hijo de Saúl, y vino á David en el bosque, y confortó su mano en Dios.

And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

und sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht; denn die Hand meines Vaters Saul wird dich nicht finden, sondern du wirst König werden über Israel, und ich will der Nächste nach dir sein. Auch weiß solches mein Vater Saul wohl.

Y díjole: No temas, que no te hallará la mano de Saúl mi padre, y tú reinarás sobre Israel, y yo seré segundo después de ti; y aun Saúl mi padre así lo sabe.

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

He said to him, “Don’t be afraid, for the hand of Saul my father won’t find you; and you will be king over Israel, and I will be next to you; and Saul my father knows that also.”

Und sie machten beide einen Bund miteinander vor dem HERRN. Und David blieb in dem Walde; Jonatan aber ging wieder heim.

Y entrambos hicieron alianza delante de Jehová: y David se quedó en el bosque, y Jonathán se volvió á su casa.

And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.

They both made a covenant before the LORD. Then David stayed in the woods and Jonathan went to his house.

Und die Siphiter zogen hinauf zu Saul gen Gibea und sprachen: Ist nicht David bei uns verborgen auf den Hügeln im Walde, auf dem Hügel Hachila, der zur Rechten der Wüste liegt?

Y subieron los de Ziph á decir á Saúl en Gabaa: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra en las peñas del bosque, en el collado de Hachîla que está á la mano derecha del desierto?

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?

Then the Ziphites came up to Saul to Gibeah, saying, “Doesn’t David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the woods, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?

So komme nun der König herab, wenn sein Herz darnach gelüstet, so wollen wir ihn in des Königs Hand überantworten.

Por tanto, rey, desciende ahora presto, según todo el deseo de tu alma, y nosotros lo entregaremos en la mano del rey.

Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king’s hand.

Da sprach Saul: Gesegnet seid ihr von dem HERRN, daß ihr euch meiner erbarmt habt!

Y Saúl dijo: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis tenido compasión de mí:

And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion on me.

Saul said, “You are blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.

So geht nun hin und vergewissert euch noch mehr, erkundet und seht, an welchem Ort er sich aufhält und wer ihn daselbst gesehen hat; denn es ist mir gesagt worden, daß er sehr listig sei.

Id pues ahora, apercibid aún, considerad y ved su lugar donde tiene el pie, y quién lo haya visto allí; porque se me ha dicho que él es en gran manera astuto.

Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly.

Please go make yet more sure, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there; for I have been told that he is very cunning.

Besehet und erkundiget auch alle Verstecke, wo er sich verkriecht, und kommt wieder zu mir, wenn ihr seiner gewiß seid, so will ich mit euch ziehen. Ist er im Lande, so will ich ihn ausfindig machen unter allen Tausenden Judas!

Considerad pues, y ved todos los escondrijos donde se oculta, y volved á mí con la certidumbre, y yo iré con vosotros: que si él estuviere en la tierra, yo le buscaré entre todos los millares de Judá.

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.

Da machten sie sich auf und gingen vor Saul hin gen Siph. David aber und seine Männer waren in der Wüste Maon, in der Ebene, südlich von der Wüste.

Y ellos se levantaron, y se fueron á Ziph delante de Saúl. Mas David y su gente estaban en el desierto de Maón, en la llanura que está á la diestra del desierto.

And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.

Da nun Saul mit seinen Männern hinzog, ihn zu suchen, wurde es David angezeigt, und er machte sich zu dem Felsen hinab und verblieb in der Wüste Maon. Als Saul solches hörte, jagte er David nach in die Wüste Maon.

Y partióse Saúl con su gente á buscarlo; pero fué dado aviso á David, y descendió á la peña, y quedóse en el desierto de Maón. Lo cual como Saúl oyó, siguió á David al desierto de Maón.

Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.

Saul and his men went to seek him. When David was told, he went down to the rock, and stayed in the wilderness of Maon. When Saul heard that, he pursued David in the wilderness of Maon.

Und Saul ging auf einer Seite des Berges, David aber mit seinen Männern auf der andern Seite des Berges. Als aber David eilte, Saul zu entrinnen, umringte Saul samt seinen Männern den David und seine Männer, um sie zu fangen.

Y Saúl iba por el un lado del monte, y David con los suyos por el otro lado del monte: y dábase priesa David para ir delante de Saúl; mas Saúl y los suyos habían encerrado á David y á su gente para tomarlos.

And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.

Aber ein Bote kam zu Saul und sprach: Eile und komm, denn die Philister sind in das Land eingefallen!

Entonces vino un mensajero á Saúl, diciendo: Ven luego, porque los Filisteos han hecho una irrupción en el país.

But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.

But a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have made a raid on the land!”

Da ließ Saul von der Verfolgung Davids ab und zog den Philistern entgegen. Daher heißt man jenen Ort Sela-Hammachlekot.

Volvióse por tanto Saúl de perseguir á David, y partió contra los Filisteos. Por esta causa pusieron á aquel lugar por nombre Sela-hammah-lecoth.

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth.

So Saul returned from pursuing David, and went against the Philistines. Therefore they called that place Sela Hammahlekoth.

(024-1) Aber David zog von dannen hinauf und blieb auf den Berghöhen von Engedi.
