1 Samuel 23

On annonça à David que des Philistins attaquaient Keïla et pillaient les granges.

Y DIERON aviso á David, diciendo: He aquí que los Filisteos combaten á Keila, y roban las eras.

Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.

David was told, “Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and are robbing the threshing floors.”

Et David consulta le Seigneur, disant: "Dois-je y aller et battrai-je ces Philistins?" Le Seigneur lui répondit: "Va, tu battras les Philistins et tu dégageras Keïla."

Y David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré á herir á estos Filisteos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, hiere á los Filisteos, y libra á Keila.

Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and strike these Philistines?” The LORD said to David, “Go strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.”

Mais les gens de David lui dirent: "Certes, ici, en Juda, nous sommes inquiets, combien plus si nous allons à Keïla, vers les lignes des Philistins!"

Mas los que estaban con David le dijeron: He aquí que nosotros aquí en Judá estamos con miedo; ¿cuánto más si fuéremos á Keila contra el ejército de los Filisteos?

And David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

David’s men said to him, “Behold, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

De nouveau, David consulta le Seigneur, qui lui répondit: "Va, descends à Keïla, je ferai tomber les Philistins en ton pouvoir."

Entonces David volvió á consultar á Jehová. Y Jehová le respondió, y dijo: Levántate, desciende á Keila, que yo entregaré en tus manos á los Filisteos.

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

David alla avec ses hommes à Keïla, attaqua les Philistins, emmena leur bétail et leur infligea une grande défaite; David délivra ainsi les habitants de Keïla.

Partióse pues David con sus hombres á Keila, y peleó contra los Filisteos, y trajo antecogidos sus ganados, é hiriólos con grande estrago: y libró David á los de Keila.

So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

Ayant appris que David était entré dans Keïla, Saül dit: "Dieu le livre en mon pouvoir, car il s'est enfermé, en entrant dans une ville munie de portes et de verrous."

Y fué dicho á Saúl que David había venido á Keila. Entonces dijo Saúl: Dios lo ha traído á mis manos; porque él está encerrado, habiéndose metido en ciudad con puertas y cerraduras.

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

Saul was told that David had come to Keilah. Saul said, “God has delivered him into my hand, for he is shut in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.”

Alors Saül convoqua tout le peuple à la guerre, l'invitant à descendre à Keïla pour assiéger David et son monde.

Y convocó Saúl todo el pueblo á la batalla, para descender á Keila, y poner cerco á David y á los suyos.

And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.

David, instruit des mauvais desseins de Saül à son égard, dit au prêtre Ebiatar: "Fais avancer l'éphod."

Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”

Puis David dit: "Seigneur, Dieu d'Israël, ton serviteur a appris que Saül cherche à pénétrer dans Keïla pour détruire cette ville à cause de moi.

Y dijo David: Jehová Dios de Israel, tu siervo tiene entendido que Saúl trata de venir contra Keila, á destruir la ciudad por causa mía.

Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.

Then David said, “O LORD, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for my sake.

Les bourgeois de Keïla me livreront-ils en sa main? Saül y viendra-t-il, comme ton serviteur l'a ouï dire? Seigneur, Dieu d'Israël, veuille le faire savoir à ton serviteur." Le Seigneur répondit: "Il viendra"

¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila en sus manos? ¿descenderá Saúl, como tu siervo tiene oído? Jehová Dios de Israel, ruégote que lo declares á tu siervo. Y Jehová dijo: Sí, descenderá.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? LORD, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” The LORD said, “He will come down.”

David reprit: "Les bourgeois de Keïla me livreront-ils avec mes hommes aux mains de Saül? ils vous livreront," répondit le Seigneur.

Dijo luego David: ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila á mí y á mis hombres en manos de Saúl? Y Jehová respondió: Te entregarán.

Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.

Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” The LORD said, “They will deliver you up.”

Alors David se leva avec ses gens, au nombre d'environ six cents hommes, et ils sortirent de Keïla, prenant une autre direction. Saül, ayant appris que David s'était échappé de Keïla, renonça à se mettre en campagne.

David entonces se levantó con sus hombres, que eran como seiscientos, y saliéronse de Keila, y fuéronse de una parte á otra. Y vino la nueva á Saúl de como David se había escapado de Keila; y dejó de salir.

Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.

David s'établit dans le désert en des points sûrs; il resta sur la montagne, au désert de Ziph. Saül le cherchait tout ce temps, mais Dieu ne le laissa pas tomber en son pouvoir.

Y David se estaba en el desierto en peñas, y habitaba en un monte en el desierto de Ziph; y buscábalo Saúl todos los días, mas Dios no lo entregó en sus manos.

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God didn’t deliver him into his hand.

David sut que Saül était sorti pour attenter à sa vie, et il se tint dans la forêt du désert de Ziph.

Viendo pues David que Saúl había salido en busca de su alma, estábase él en el bosque en el desierto de Ziph.

And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.

AIors Jonathan, fils de Saül, se mit en route, se rendit auprès de David dans la forêt, et l'encouragea au nom du Seigneur,

Entonces se levantó Jonathán hijo de Saúl, y vino á David en el bosque, y confortó su mano en Dios.

And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

lui disant: "Ne crains rien, la main de Saül, mon père, ne t'atteindra point; tu règneras sur Israël et moi je serai ton second; Saül, mon père, le sait bien aussi."

Y díjole: No temas, que no te hallará la mano de Saúl mi padre, y tú reinarás sobre Israel, y yo seré segundo después de ti; y aun Saúl mi padre así lo sabe.

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

He said to him, “Don’t be afraid, for the hand of Saul my father won’t find you; and you will be king over Israel, and I will be next to you; and Saul my father knows that also.”

Tous deux firent alliance devant le Seigneur; David resta dans la forêt, et Jonathan regagna sa maison.

Y entrambos hicieron alianza delante de Jehová: y David se quedó en el bosque, y Jonathán se volvió á su casa.

And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.

Des Ziphiens montèrent auprès de Saül, à Ghibea, pour lui dire: "Sais-tu? David se cache parmi nous, dans les abris de la forêt, sur la colline de Hakhila, qui est à droite du désert.

Y subieron los de Ziph á decir á Saúl en Gabaa: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra en las peñas del bosque, en el collado de Hachîla que está á la mano derecha del desierto?

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?

Then the Ziphites came up to Saul to Gibeah, saying, “Doesn’t David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the woods, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?

Et maintenant, ô roi, vas-y absolument à ton gré, nous nous chargeons de te le livrer."

Por tanto, rey, desciende ahora presto, según todo el deseo de tu alma, y nosotros lo entregaremos en la mano del rey.

Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king’s hand.

Saül répondit: "Soyez bénis de l'Eternel, pour votre sollicitude à mon égard!

Y Saúl dijo: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis tenido compasión de mí:

And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion on me.

Saul said, “You are blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.

Allez, je vous prie, prenez encore vos dispositions pour connaître et observer l'endroit où il se tient et savoir qui l'y a vu, car on m'a dit qu'il est fertile en ruses.

Id pues ahora, apercibid aún, considerad y ved su lugar donde tiene el pie, y quién lo haya visto allí; porque se me ha dicho que él es en gran manera astuto.

Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly.

Please go make yet more sure, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there; for I have been told that he is very cunning.

Voyez et reconnaissez toutes les retraites où il peut se cacher, venez me retrouver une fois bien renseignés, et j'irai avec vous; et s'il est dans le pays, je le rechercherai dans toutes les familles de Juda."

Considerad pues, y ved todos los escondrijos donde se oculta, y volved á mí con la certidumbre, y yo iré con vosotros: que si él estuviere en la tierra, yo le buscaré entre todos los millares de Judá.

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.

Ils partirent donc dans la direction de Ziph, précédant Saül, tandis que David, avec ses hommes, était dans le désert de Maon, dans la plaine, vers la droite du désert.

Y ellos se levantaron, y se fueron á Ziph delante de Saúl. Mas David y su gente estaban en el desierto de Maón, en la llanura que está á la diestra del desierto.

And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.

Saül et ses gens se mirent à sa recherche. David, informé, descendit le long des rochers, mais resta dans le désert de Maon; Saül, l'apprenant, poursuivit David dans le désert de Maon.

Y partióse Saúl con su gente á buscarlo; pero fué dado aviso á David, y descendió á la peña, y quedóse en el desierto de Maón. Lo cual como Saúl oyó, siguió á David al desierto de Maón.

Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.

Saül cheminait d'un côté de la montagne, tandis que David et ses hommes suivaient l'autre versant de la montagne. David s'avançait en toute hâte pour échapper à Saül, et celui-ci, avec ses gens, cernait David et sa troupe pour les capturer.

Y Saúl iba por el un lado del monte, y David con los suyos por el otro lado del monte: y dábase priesa David para ir delante de Saúl; mas Saúl y los suyos habían encerrado á David y á su gente para tomarlos.

And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.

Or, un messager vint dire à Saül: "Viens vite, les Philistins se sont répandus dans le pays."

Entonces vino un mensajero á Saúl, diciendo: Ven luego, porque los Filisteos han hecho una irrupción en el país.

But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.

But a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have made a raid on the land!”

Et Saül cessa de poursuivre David et alla à la rencontre des Philistins. C'est pourquoi on appela ce lieu le Rocher de la Séparation.

Volvióse por tanto Saúl de perseguir á David, y partió contra los Filisteos. Por esta causa pusieron á aquel lugar por nombre Sela-hammah-lecoth.

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth.

So Saul returned from pursuing David, and went against the Philistines. Therefore they called that place Sela Hammahlekoth.

David remonta de là et s'arrêta dans les abris d'En-Ghedi.

And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at En-gedi.
