10Mira, hoy mismo tus ojos ven cómo Yavé te colocó en mi mano dentro de la cueva. Se habló de matarte, pero se tuvo compasión de ti, pues dije: ¡No extenderé mi mano contra mi ʼadón, porque es el ungido de Yavé!

10Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’s anointed.

10Behold, today your eyes have seen how the LORD had delivered you today into my hand in the cave. Some urged me to kill you, but I spared you. I said, ‘I will not stretch out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD’s anointed.’
