And now, my lord, as the Lord lives, and thy soul lives, as the Lord has kept thee from coming against innocent blood, and Gr. saving thy hand for thyself from executing vengeance for thyself, now therefore let thine enemies, and those that seek evil against my lord, become as Nabal.
Ahora pues, señor mío, vive Jehová y vive tu alma, que Jehová te ha estorbado que vinieses á derramar sangre, y vengarte por tu propia mano. Sean pues como Nabal tus enemigos, y todos los que procuran mal contra mi señor.
Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.
