1 Samuel 25

Et bénie soit ta sagesse, et bénie sois-tu, toi qui en ce jour m’as empêché d’en venir au sang et de me faire justice par ma main !

Y bendito sea tu razonamiento, y bendita tú, que me has estorbado hoy el ir á derramar sangre, y á vengarme por mi propia mano:

And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.

Blessed is your discretion, and blessed are you, who have kept me today from blood guiltiness, and from avenging myself with my own hand.
