1 Samuel 25

Benedetto sia il tuo senno, e benedetta sii tu, che mi hai oggi impedito di venire a spargimento di sangue, e di farmi ragione con le mie mani.

Y bendito sea tu razonamiento, y bendita tú, que me has estorbado hoy el ir á derramar sangre, y á vengarme por mi propia mano:

And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.

Blessed is your discretion, and blessed are you, who have kept me today from blood guiltiness, and from avenging myself with my own hand.
