A la mañana siguiente, cuando Nabal estaba sobrio, su mujer le contó lo que había sucedido. Cuando él la escuchó, le dio un ataque al corazón y se quedó paralizado.

Pero á la mañana, cuando el vino había salido de Nabal, refirióle su mujer aquestas cosas; y se le amorteció el corazón, y quedóse como una piedra.
