12Davide dunque prese la lancia e la brocca dell’acqua che Saul avea presso al suo capo, e se ne andarono. Nessuno vide la cosa né s’accorse di nulla; e nessuno si svegliò; tutti dormivano, perché l’Eterno avea fatto cader su loro un sonno profondo.

12Llevóse pues David la lanza y la botija de agua de la cabecera de Saúl, y fuéronse; que no hubo nadie que viese, ni entendiese, ni velase, pues todos dormían: porque un profundo sueño enviado de Jehová había caído sobre ellos.

12So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
