1 Samuel 27

E disse Davi em seu coração: Ao fim serei morto algum dia pela mão de Saul: nada portanto me será melhor que fugir à terra dos filisteus, para que Saul se deixe de mim, e não me ande buscando mais por todos os termos de Israel, e assim me escaparei de suas mãos.

Y DIJO David en su corazón: Al fin seré muerto algún día por la mano de Saúl: nada por tanto me será mejor que fugarme á la tierra de los Filisteos, para que Saúl se deje de mí, y no me ande buscando más por todos los términos de Israel, y así me escaparé de sus manos.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

David said in his heart, “I will now perish one day by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me any more in all the borders of Israel. So I will escape out of his hand.”

Levantou-se, pois Davi, e com os seiscentos homens que tinha consigo passou-se a Aquis filho de Maoque, rei de Gate.

Levantóse pues David, y con los seiscientos hombres que tenía consigo pasóse á Achîs hijo de Maoch, rey de Gath.

And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath.

E morou Davi com Aquis em Gate, ele e os seus, cada um com sua família: Davi com suas duas mulheres, Ainoã jezreelita, e Abigail, a que foi mulher de Nabal o do Carmelo.

Y moró David con Achîs en Gath, él y los suyos, cada uno con su familia: David con sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita, y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal el del Carmelo.

And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal’s wife.

E veio a nova a Saul que Davi se havia fugido a Gate, e não o buscou mais.

Y vino la nueva á Saúl que David se había huído á Gath, y no lo buscó más.

And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.

E Davi disse a Aquis: Se achei agora favor em teus olhos, seja-me dado lugar em algumas das cidades da terra, de onde eu habite; por que teu servo deverá morar contigo na cidade real?

Y David dijo á Achîs: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, séame dado lugar en algunas de las ciudades de la tierra, donde habite: porque ¿ha de morar tu siervo contigo en la ciudad real?

And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?

David said to Achish, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, let them give me a place in one of the cities in the country, that I may dwell there. For why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you?”

E Aquis lhe deu aquele dia a Ziclague. De aqui foi Ziclague dos reis de Judá até hoje.

Y Achîs le dió aquel día á Siclag. De aquí fué Siclag de los reyes de Judá hasta hoy.

Then Achish gave him Ziklag that day: wherefore Ziklag pertaineth unto the kings of Judah unto this day.

E foi o número dos dias que Davi habitou na terra dos filisteus, quatro meses e alguns dias.

E subia Davi com os seus, e faziam entradas nos gesuritas, e nos gersitas, e nos amalequitas: porque estes habitavam de longo tempo a terra, desde como se vai a Sur até a terra do Egito.

Y subía David con los suyos, y hacían entradas en los Gesureos, y en los Gerzeos, y en los Amalecitas: porque estos habitaban de largo tiempo la tierra, desde como se va á Shur hasta la tierra de Egipto.

And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.

David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites; for those were the inhabitants of the land who were of old, on the way to Shur, even to the land of Egypt.

E feria Davi o país, e não deixava à vida homem nem mulher: e levava-se as ovelhas e as vacas e os asnos e os camelos e as roupas; e voltava, e vinha-se a Aquis.

Y hería David el país, y no dejaba á vida hombre ni mujer: y llevábase las ovejas y las vacas y los asnos y los camellos y las ropas; y volvía, y veníase á Achîs.

And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.

David struck the land, and saved no man or woman alive, and took away the sheep, the cattle, the donkeys, the camels, and the clothing. Then he returned, and came to Achish.

E dizia Aquis: Onde atacastes hoje? E Davi dizia: Ao sul de Judá, e ao sul de Jerameel, ou contra o sul dos queneus.

Y decía Achîs: ¿Dónde habéis corrido hoy? Y David decía: Al mediodía de Judá, y al mediodía de Jerameel, ó contra el mediodía de Ceni.

And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.

Achish said, “Against whom have you made a raid today?” David said, “Against the South of Judah, against the South of the Jerahmeelites, and against the South of the Kenites.”

Nem homem nem mulher deixava à vida Davi, que viesse a Gate; dizendo: Porque não deem aviso de nós, dizendo: Isto fez Davi. E este era seu costume todo aquele tempo que morou em terra dos filisteus.

Ni hombre ni mujer dejaba á vida David, que viniese á Gath; diciendo: Porque no den aviso de nosotros, diciendo, Esto hizo David. Y esta era su costumbre todo el tiempo que moró en tierra de los Filisteos.

And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.

David saved neither man nor woman alive to bring them to Gath, saying, “Lest they should tell about us, saying, ‘David did this, and this has been his way all the time he has lived in the country of the Philistines.’”

E Aquis confiava em Davi, dizendo assim: Ele se faz abominável em seu povo de Israel, e será meu servo para sempre.

Y Achîs creía á David, diciendo así: El se hace abominable en su pueblo de Israel, y será siempre mi siervo.

And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.

Achish believed David, saying, “He has made his people Israel utterly to abhor him. Therefore he will be my servant forever.”
