1 Samuel 27

OR Davide disse fra sè stesso: Ecco, un giorno io perirò per le mani di Saulle; non vi è nulla di meglio per me, se non che io scampi affatto nel paese de' Filistei; talchè Saulle, se pur continua a cercarmi per tutte le contrade d'Israele, perda ogni speranza di me; così scamperò dalla sua mano.

Y DIJO David en su corazón: Al fin seré muerto algún día por la mano de Saúl: nada por tanto me será mejor que fugarme á la tierra de los Filisteos, para que Saúl se deje de mí, y no me ande buscando más por todos los términos de Israel, y así me escaparé de sus manos.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

David said in his heart, “I will now perish one day by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me any more in all the borders of Israel. So I will escape out of his hand.”

Davide adunque si levò, e passò, con seicent'uomini ch'egli avea seco, ad Achis, figliuolo di Maoc, re di Gat.

Levantóse pues David, y con los seiscientos hombres que tenía consigo pasóse á Achîs hijo de Maoch, rey de Gath.

And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath.

E Davide dimorò con Achis in Gat, insieme con la sua gente, ciascuno con la sua famiglia. Davide vi era con le sue due mogli Ahinoam Izreelita, e Abigail, ch'era stata moglie di Nabal da Carmel.

Y moró David con Achîs en Gath, él y los suyos, cada uno con su familia: David con sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita, y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal el del Carmelo.

And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal’s wife.

Or egli fu rapportato a Saulle che Davide era fuggito in Gat; laonde egli non continuò più a cercarlo.

Y vino la nueva á Saúl que David se había huído á Gath, y no lo buscó más.

And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.

E Davide disse ad Achis: Deh! se io sono in grazia tua, siami data stanza in una delle città della campagna, acciocchè io vi dimori; e perchè dimorerebbe il tuo servitore teco nella città reale?

Y David dijo á Achîs: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, séame dado lugar en algunas de las ciudades de la tierra, donde habite: porque ¿ha de morar tu siervo contigo en la ciudad real?

And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?

David said to Achish, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, let them give me a place in one of the cities in the country, that I may dwell there. For why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you?”

Ed Achis gli diede in quel dì Siclag; perciò Siclag è restata ai re di Giuda infino a questo giorno.

Y Achîs le dió aquel día á Siclag. De aquí fué Siclag de los reyes de Judá hasta hoy.

Or lo spazio del tempo che Davide dimorò nelle contrade de' Filistei, fu un anno e quattro mesi.

E Davide saliva con la sua gente, e faceva delle correrie nel paese de' Ghesurei, e de' Ghirzei, e degli Amalechiti; perciocchè quelle nazioni abitavano nel lor paese, da Sur fino al paese di Egitto.

Y subía David con los suyos, y hacían entradas en los Gesureos, y en los Gerzeos, y en los Amalecitas: porque estos habitaban de largo tiempo la tierra, desde como se va á Shur hasta la tierra de Egipto.

And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.

E Davide percoteva il paese, e non lasciava in vita nè uomo, nè donna; e pigliava pecore, e buoi, ed asini, e cammelli e vestimenti; poi se ne ritornava, e veniva ad Achis.

Y hería David el país, y no dejaba á vida hombre ni mujer: y llevábase las ovejas y las vacas y los asnos y los camellos y las ropas; y volvía, y veníase á Achîs.

And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.

David struck the land, and saved no man or woman alive, and took away the sheep, the cattle, the donkeys, the camels, and the clothing. Then he returned, and came to Achish.

E Achis diceva: Dove siete oggi scorsi? E Davide diceva: Sopra la contrada meridionale di Giuda, sopra la contrada meridionale de' Ierameeliti, e sopra la contrada meridionale de' Chenei.

Y decía Achîs: ¿Dónde habéis corrido hoy? Y David decía: Al mediodía de Judá, y al mediodía de Jerameel, ó contra el mediodía de Ceni.

And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.

Achish said, “Against whom have you made a raid today?” David said, “Against the South of Judah, against the South of the Jerahmeelites, and against the South of the Kenites.”

Ma Davide non lasciava in vita nè uomo, nè donna, per menarli in Gat; perciocchè diceva: Ei si convien provvedere che non facciano alcun rapporto contro a noi, dicendo: Così ha fatto Davide. E tal fu il suo costume tutto il tempo ch'egli dimorò nelle contrade de' Filistei.

Ni hombre ni mujer dejaba á vida David, que viniese á Gath; diciendo: Porque no den aviso de nosotros, diciendo, Esto hizo David. Y esta era su costumbre todo el tiempo que moró en tierra de los Filisteos.

And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.

Ed Achis credeva a Davide, e diceva: Egli si è renduto del tutto abbominevole ad Israele, suo popolo; per ciò, egli mi sarà servitore in perpetuo.

Y Achîs creía á David, diciendo así: El se hace abominable en su pueblo de Israel, y será siempre mi siervo.

And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.
