Und David sprach zu Achisch: Du sollst wissen, was dein Knecht tun wird. Und Achisch sprach zu David: Deshalb werde ich dich auch zum Hüter meines Hauptes setzen, alle Tage.

Y David respondió á Achîs: Sabrás pues lo que hará tu siervo. Y Achîs dijo á David: Por tanto te haré guarda de mi cabeza todos los días.

And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever.

David said to Achish, “Therefore you will know what your servant can do.” Achish said to David, “Therefore I will make you my bodyguard forever.”
