Da sprachen die Fursten der Philister: Was sollen diese Ebraer? Achis sprach zu ihnen: Ist nicht das David, der Knecht Sauls, des Konigs Israels, der nun bei mir gewesen ist Jahr und Tag, und habe nichts an ihm gefunden, seit der Zeit er abgefallen ist, bis her?
Y dijeron los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿Qué hacen aquí estos Hebreos? Y Achîs respondió á los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿No es éste David, el siervo de Saúl rey de Israel, que ha estado conmigo algunos días ó algunos años, y no he hallado cosa en él desde el día que se pasó á mí hasta hoy?
Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Isn’t this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or rather these years? I have found no fault in him since he fell away until today.”
Aber die Fursten der Philister wurden zornig auf ihn und sprachen zu ihm: Laft den Mann umkehren und an seinem Ort bleiben, da du ihn hin bestellet hast, daß er nicht mit uns hinabziehe zum Streit und unser Widersacher werde im Streit. Denn woran konnte er seinem Herrn baft Gefallen tun denn an den Kopfen dieser Manner?
Entonces los príncipes de los Filisteos se enojaron contra él, y dijéronle: Envía á este hombre, que se vuelva al lugar que le señalaste, y no venga con nosotros á la batalla, no sea que en la batalla se nos vuelva enemigo: porque ¿con qué cosa volvería mejor á la gracia de su señor que con las cabezas de estos hombres?
And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?
But the princes of the Philistines were angry with him; and the princes of the Philistines said to him, “Make the man return, that he may go back to his place where you have appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us. For with what should this fellow reconcile himself to his lord? Should it not be with the heads of these men?
Ist er nicht der David, von dem sie sangen am Reigen: Saul hat tausend geschlagen, David aber zehntausend?
¿No es este David de quien cantaban en los corros, diciendo: Saúl hirió sus miles, y David sus diez miles?

Da rief Achis David und sprach zu ihm: So wahr der HERR lebet, ich halte dich fur redlich, und dein Ausgang und Eingang mit mir im Heer gefallt mir wohl, und habe nichts Arges an dir gespuret, seit der Zeit du zu mir kommen bist, bis her; aber du gefallst den Fursten nicht.
Y Achîs llamó á David, y díjole: Vive Jehová, que tú has sido recto, y que me ha parecido bien tu salida y entrada en el campo conmigo, y que ninguna cosa mala he hallado en ti desde el día que viniste á mí hasta hoy: mas en los ojos de los príncipes no agradas.
Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.
Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the LORD lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords don’t favor you.
So kehre nun urn und gehe hin mit Frieden, auf daß du nicht ubel tust vor den Augen der Fursten der Philister.
Vuélvete pues, y vete en paz; y no hagas lo malo en los ojos de los príncipes de los Filisteos.
Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

David aber sprach zu Achis: Was habe ich getan, und was hast du gespuret an deinem Knechte, seit der Zeit ich vor dir gewesen bin, bis her, daß ich nicht sollte kommen und streiten wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Konigs?
Y David respondió á Achîs: ¿Qué he hecho? ¿qué has hallado en tu siervo desde el día que estoy contigo hasta hoy, para que yo no vaya y pelee contra los enemigos de mi señor el rey?
And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
David said to Achish, “But what have I done? What have you found in your servant so long as I have been before you to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”
Achis antwortete und sprach zu David: Ich weift wohl; denn du gefallst meinen Augen, als ein Engel Gottes. Aber der Philister Fursten haben gesagt: Laft ihn nicht mit uns hinauf in Streit ziehen.
Y Achîs respondió á David, y dijo: Yo sé que tú eres bueno en mis ojos, como un ángel de Dios; mas los príncipes de los Filisteos han dicho: No venga con nosotros á la batalla.
And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
Achish answered David, “I know that you are good in my sight, as an angel of God. Notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’
So mache dich nun morgen fruhe auf, und die Knechte deines Herrn, die mit dir kommen sind; und wenn ihr euch morgen fruhe aufgemacht habt, daß licht ist, so gehet hin.
Levántate pues de mañana, tú y los siervos de tu señor que han venido contigo; y levantándoos de mañana, luego al amanecer partíos.
Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master’s servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.

Also machten sich David und seine Manner frühe auf, daß sie des Morgens hingingen und wieder in der Philister Land kamen. Die Philister aber zogen hinauf gen Jesreel.
Y levantóse David de mañana, él y los suyos, para irse y volverse á la tierra de los Filisteos; y los Filisteos fueron á Jezreel.
