Or les Philistins assemblèrent toutes leurs armées à Aphek ; et les Israëlites étaient campés près de la fontaine de Jizréhel.

Y LOS Filisteos juntaron todos sus campos en Aphec; é Israel puso su campo junto á la fuente que está en Jezreel.

Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

Et les Gouverneurs des Philistins passèrent par leurs centaines et par leurs milliers ; et David et ses gens passèrent sur l’arrière-garde avec Akis.

Y reconociendo los príncipes de los Filisteos sus compañías de á ciento y de á mil hombres, David y los suyos iban en los postreros con Achîs.

And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.

Et les chefs des Philistins dirent : Qu’est-ce que ces Hébreux-là ? Et Akis répondit aux chefs des Philistins : N’est-ce pas ici ce David, serviteur de Saül Roi d’Israël, qui a déjà été avec moi quelque temps, même quelques années ? et je n’ai rien trouvé à redire en lui depuis le jour qu’il s’est rendu à moi, jusqu’à ce jour.

Y dijeron los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿Qué hacen aquí estos Hebreos? Y Achîs respondió á los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿No es éste David, el siervo de Saúl rey de Israel, que ha estado conmigo algunos días ó algunos años, y no he hallado cosa en él desde el día que se pasó á mí hasta hoy?

Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Isn’t this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or rather these years? I have found no fault in him since he fell away until today.”

Mais les chefs des Philistins se mirent en colère contre lui, et lui dirent : Renvoie cet homme, et qu’il s’en retourne dans le lieu où tu l’as établi, et qu’il ne descende point avec nous dans la bataille, de peur qu’il ne se tourne contre nous dans la bataille ; car comment pourrait-il se remettre en grâce avec son Seigneur ? ne serait-ce pas par le moyen des têtes de ces hommes-ci ?

Entonces los príncipes de los Filisteos se enojaron contra él, y dijéronle: Envía á este hombre, que se vuelva al lugar que le señalaste, y no venga con nosotros á la batalla, no sea que en la batalla se nos vuelva enemigo: porque ¿con qué cosa volvería mejor á la gracia de su señor que con las cabezas de estos hombres?

And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?

But the princes of the Philistines were angry with him; and the princes of the Philistines said to him, “Make the man return, that he may go back to his place where you have appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us. For with what should this fellow reconcile himself to his lord? Should it not be with the heads of these men?

N’est-ce pas ici ce David, duquel on s’entre-répondait aux danses, en disant ? Saül en a frappé ses mille et David ses dix mille ?

¿No es este David de quien cantaban en los corros, diciendo: Saúl hirió sus miles, y David sus diez miles?

Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

Isn’t this David, of whom people sang to one another in dances, saying, ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands’?”

Akis donc appela David, et lui dit : L’Eternel est vivant, que tu es certainement un homme droit, et que ta conduite au camp m’a paru bonne, car je n’ai point trouvé de mal en toi, depuis le jour que tu es venu à moi jusqu’à ce jour ; mais tu ne plais point aux Gouverneurs.

Y Achîs llamó á David, y díjole: Vive Jehová, que tú has sido recto, y que me ha parecido bien tu salida y entrada en el campo conmigo, y que ninguna cosa mala he hallado en ti desde el día que viniste á mí hasta hoy: mas en los ojos de los príncipes no agradas.

Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.

Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the LORD lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords don’t favor you.

Maintenant donc retourne-t’en, et t’en va en paix, afin que tu ne fasses aucune chose qui déplaise aux Gouverneurs des Philistins.

Vuélvete pues, y vete en paz; y no hagas lo malo en los ojos de los príncipes de los Filisteos.

Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

Therefore now return, and go in peace, that you not displease the lords of the Philistines.”

Et David dit à Akis : Mais qu’ai-je fait ? et qu’as-tu trouvé en ton serviteur depuis le jour que j’ai été avec toi jusqu’à ce jour, que je n’aille point combattre contre les ennemis du Roi mon Seigneur ?

Y David respondió á Achîs: ¿Qué he hecho? ¿qué has hallado en tu siervo desde el día que estoy contigo hasta hoy, para que yo no vaya y pelee contra los enemigos de mi señor el rey?

And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

David said to Achish, “But what have I done? What have you found in your servant so long as I have been before you to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

Et Akis répondit et dit à David : Je le sais : car tu es agréable à mes yeux, comme un Ange de Dieu ; mais c’est seulement que les chefs des Philistins ont dit : Il ne montera point avec nous dans la bataille.

Y Achîs respondió á David, y dijo: Yo sé que tú eres bueno en mis ojos, como un ángel de Dios; mas los príncipes de los Filisteos han dicho: No venga con nosotros á la batalla.

And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

Achish answered David, “I know that you are good in my sight, as an angel of God. Notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’

C’est pourquoi lève-toi de bon matin, avec les serviteurs de ton Seigneur qui sont venus avec toi ; et étant levés de bon matin, sitôt que vous verrez le jour, allez-vous-en.

Levántate pues de mañana, tú y los siervos de tu señor que han venido contigo; y levantándoos de mañana, luego al amanecer partíos.

Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master’s servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.

Therefore now rise up early in the morning with the servants of your lord who have come with you; and as soon as you are up early in the morning and have light, depart.”

Ainsi David se leva de bon matin, lui et ses gens, pour partir dès le matin, et s’en retourner au pays des Philistins ; mais les Philistins montèrent à Jizréhel.

Y levantóse David de mañana, él y los suyos, para irse y volverse á la tierra de los Filisteos; y los Filisteos fueron á Jezreel.

So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
