Les Philistins concentrèrent toutes leurs troupes à Aphek, tandis que les Israélites étaient campés près de la source qui est à Jezreël.

Y LOS Filisteos juntaron todos sus campos en Aphec; é Israel puso su campo junto á la fuente que está en Jezreel.

Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

Les princes des Philistins s'avancèrent avec leurs troupes de cent et de mille; David et ses hommes formaient l'arrière-garde avec Akhich.

Y reconociendo los príncipes de los Filisteos sus compañías de á ciento y de á mil hombres, David y los suyos iban en los postreros con Achîs.

And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.

Les chefs des Philistins dirent: "Qu'est-ce que ces Hébreux?" Akhich leur répondit: "Mais c'est David, le serviteur de Saül, roi d'Israël, qui a été auprès de moi bien des jours et même des années, et chez qui je n'ai rien trouvé à reprendre depuis son arrivée jusqu'à ce jour."

Y dijeron los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿Qué hacen aquí estos Hebreos? Y Achîs respondió á los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿No es éste David, el siervo de Saúl rey de Israel, que ha estado conmigo algunos días ó algunos años, y no he hallado cosa en él desde el día que se pasó á mí hasta hoy?

Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Isn’t this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or rather these years? I have found no fault in him since he fell away until today.”

Les chefs des Philistins se mirent en colère contre lui et lui dirent: "Fais repartir cet homme; qu'il retourne à l'endroit que tu lui as assigné, mais qu'il ne nous accompagne pas à la guerre et ne devienne pas un obstacle contre nous dans le combat; car, comment cet homme se ferait-il bien venir de son maître, si ce n'est avec les têtes de nos soldats?

Entonces los príncipes de los Filisteos se enojaron contra él, y dijéronle: Envía á este hombre, que se vuelva al lugar que le señalaste, y no venga con nosotros á la batalla, no sea que en la batalla se nos vuelva enemigo: porque ¿con qué cosa volvería mejor á la gracia de su señor que con las cabezas de estos hombres?

And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?

But the princes of the Philistines were angry with him; and the princes of the Philistines said to him, “Make the man return, that he may go back to his place where you have appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us. For with what should this fellow reconcile himself to his lord? Should it not be with the heads of these men?

N'est-ce pas ce même David que les chœurs acclamaient en disant: "Saül a battu ses mille, Et David ses myriades?"

¿No es este David de quien cantaban en los corros, diciendo: Saúl hirió sus miles, y David sus diez miles?

Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

Isn’t this David, of whom people sang to one another in dances, saying, ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands’?”

Akhich appela David et lui dit: "Par le Dieu vivant! Tu es honnête, ta conduite auprès de moi dans l'armée me plaît, et je n'ai rien trouvé à te reprocher depuis le jour de ton arrivée chez moi jusqu'à ce jour; mais tu n'es pas agréable aux princes.

Y Achîs llamó á David, y díjole: Vive Jehová, que tú has sido recto, y que me ha parecido bien tu salida y entrada en el campo conmigo, y que ninguna cosa mala he hallado en ti desde el día que viniste á mí hasta hoy: mas en los ojos de los príncipes no agradas.

Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.

Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the LORD lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords don’t favor you.

Repars donc et va en paix, pour ne pas mécontenter les princes des Philistins.

Vuélvete pues, y vete en paz; y no hagas lo malo en los ojos de los príncipes de los Filisteos.

Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

Therefore now return, and go in peace, that you not displease the lords of the Philistines.”

Mais, dit David à Akhich, qu'ai-je fait et qu'as-tu trouvé en ton serviteur, du jour où j'ai paru devant toi jusqu'à présent, pour que je ne puisse aller me battre contre les ennemis de mon seigneur le roi?"

Y David respondió á Achîs: ¿Qué he hecho? ¿qué has hallado en tu siervo desde el día que estoy contigo hasta hoy, para que yo no vaya y pelee contra los enemigos de mi señor el rey?

And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

David said to Achish, “But what have I done? What have you found in your servant so long as I have been before you to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

Akhich, reprenant la parole, dit à David: "Je le sais, tu me plais autant que le ferait un ange de Dieu; mais les chefs des Philistins ont dit: Il ne doit pas aller en guerre avec nous.

Y Achîs respondió á David, y dijo: Yo sé que tú eres bueno en mis ojos, como un ángel de Dios; mas los príncipes de los Filisteos han dicho: No venga con nosotros á la batalla.

And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

Achish answered David, “I know that you are good in my sight, as an angel of God. Notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’

Donc, lève-toi demain de bonne heure avec les serviteurs de ton maître, venus avec toi; vous vous lèverez matin, et, le jour venu, vous partirez."

Levántate pues de mañana, tú y los siervos de tu señor que han venido contigo; y levantándoos de mañana, luego al amanecer partíos.

Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master’s servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.

Et David se leva de bonne heure ainsi que ses hommes pour se mettre en route le matin et retourner au pays des Philistins, tandis que ceux-ci montaient vers Jezreël.

Y levantóse David de mañana, él y los suyos, para irse y volverse á la tierra de los Filisteos; y los Filisteos fueron á Jezreel.

So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
