1 Samuel 2

Alors Anne pria, et dit : Mon cœur s’est réjoui en l’Eternel ; ma corne a été élevée par l’Eternel ; ma bouche s’est ouverte sur mes ennemis, parce que je me suis réjouie de ton salut.

Y ANNA oró y dijo: mi corazón se regocija en Jehová, mi cuerno es ensalzado en Jehová; mi boca se ensanchó sobre mis enemigos, por cuanto me alegré en tu salud.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Hannah prayed, and said, “My heart exults in the LORD! My horn is exalted in the LORD. My mouth is enlarged over my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation.

Il n’y a nul saint comme l’Eternel ; car il n’y en a point d’autre que toi, et il n’y a point de Rocher tel que notre Dieu.

No hay santo como Jehová: porque no hay ninguno fuera de ti; y no hay refugio como el Dios nuestro.

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

There is no one as holy as the LORD, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.

Ne proférez point tant de paroles hautaines, hautaines ; qu’il ne sorte point de votre bouche des paroles rudes ; car l’Eternel est le Dieu Fort des sciences ; c’est à lui à peser les entreprises.

No multipliquéis hablando grandezas, altanerías; cesen las palabras arrogantes de vuestra boca; porque el Dios de todo saber es Jehová, y á él toca el pesar las acciones.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed.

L’arc des forts a été brisé ; mais ceux qui ne faisaient que chanceler, ont été ceints de force.

Los arcos de los fuertes fueron quebrados, y los flacos se ciñeron de fortaleza.

The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

“The bows of the mighty men are broken. Those who stumbled are armed with strength.

Ceux qui avaient accoutumé d’être rassasiés, se sont loués pour du pain ; mais les affamés ont cessé de l’être, et même la stérile en a enfanté sept ; et celle qui avait beaucoup de fils est devenue languissante.

Los hartos se alquilaron por pan: y cesaron los hambrientos: hasta parir siete la estéril, y la que tenía muchos hijos enfermó.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread. Those who were hungry are satisfied. Yes, the barren has borne seven. She who has many children languishes.

L’Eternel est celui qui fait mourir, et qui fait vivre ; qui fait descendre au sépulcre, et qui en fait remonter.

Jehová mata, y él da vida: él hace descender al sepulcro, y hace subir.

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

“The LORD kills and makes alive. He brings down to Sheol and brings up.

L’Eternel appauvrit, et enrichit ; il abaisse et il élève.

Jehová empobrece, y él enriquece: abate, y ensalza.

The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

The LORD makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

Il élève le pauvre de la poudre, et il tire le misérable de dessus le fumier, pour le faire asseoir avec les principaux, et il leur donne en héritage un trône de gloire ; car les fondements de la terre sont à l’Eternel, et il a posé sur eux la terre habitable.

El levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso ensalza del estiércol, para asentarlo con los príncipes; y hace que tengan por heredad asiento de honra: porque de Jehová son las columnas de la tierra, y él asentó sobre ellas el mundo.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them.

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s. He has set the world on them.

Il gardera les pieds de ses bien-aimés, et les méchants se tairont dans les ténèbres ; car l’homme ne sera point le plus fort par sa force.

El guarda los pies de sus santos, mas los impíos perecen en tinieblas; porque nadie será fuerte por su fuerza.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength.

Ceux qui contestent contre l’Eternel seront froissés ; il tonnera des cieux sur chacun d’eux ; l’Eternel jugera les bouts de la terre ; et il donnera la force à son Roi, et élèvera la corne de son oint.

Delante de Jehová serán quebrantados sus adversarios, y sobre ellos tronará desde los cielos: Jehová juzgará los términos de la tierra, y dará fortaleza á su Rey, y ensalzará el cuerno de su Mesías.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Those who strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

Puis Elkana s’en alla à Rama en sa maison, et le jeune garçon vaquait au service de l’Eternel, en la présence d’Héli le Sacrificateur.

Y Elcana se volvió á su casa en Ramatha; y el niño ministraba á Jehová delante del sacerdote Eli.

And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.

Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. The child served the LORD before Eli the priest.

Or les fils d’Héli étaient de méchants hommes ; ils ne connaissaient point l’Eternel,

Mas los hijos de Eli eran hombres impíos, y no tenían conocimiento de Jehová.

Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

Now the sons of Eli were wicked men. They didn’t know the LORD.

Car le train ordinaire de ces Sacrificateurs-là envers le peuple, était, que quand quelqu’un faisait quelque sacrifice, le garçon du Sacrificateur venait lorsqu’on faisait bouillir la chair, ayant en sa main une fourchette à trois dents,

Y la costumbre de los sacerdotes con el pueblo era que, cuando alguno ofrecía sacrificio, venía el criado del sacerdote mientras la carne estaba á cocer, trayendo en su mano un garfio de tres ganchos;

And the priests’ custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;

The custom of the priests with the people was that when anyone offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant came while the meat was boiling, with a fork of three teeth in his hand;

Avec laquelle il frappait dans la chaudière, ou dans le chauderon, ou dans la marmite, ou dans le pot ; et le Sacrificateur prenait pour soi tout ce que la fourchette enlevait ; ils en faisaient ainsi à tous ceux d’Israël qui venaient là à Silo.

Y hería con él en la caldera, ó en la olla, ó en el caldero, ó en el pote; y todo lo que sacaba el garfio, el sacerdote lo tomaba para si. De esta manera hacían á todo Israelita que venía á Silo.

And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.

Même avant qu’on fît fumer la graisse, le garçon du Sacrificateur venait, et disait à l’homme qui sacrifiait : Donne-moi de la chair à rôtir pour le Sacrificateur ; car il ne prendra point de toi de chair bouillie, mais de la chair crue.

Asimismo, antes de quemar el sebo, venía el criado del sacerdote, y decía al que sacrificaba: Da carne que ase para el sacerdote; porque no tomará de ti carne cocida, sino cruda.

Also before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.

Yes, before they burned the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man who sacrificed, “Give meat to roast for the priest; for he will not accept boiled meat from you, but raw.”

Que si l’homme lui répondait : Qu’on ne manque pas de faire fumer tout présentement la graisse ; et après cela prends ce que ton âme souhaitera ; alors il lui disait : Quoi qu’il en soit, tu en donneras maintenant ; et si tu ne m’en donnes, j’en prendrai par force.

Y si le respondía el varón, Quemen luego el sebo hoy, y después toma tanta como quisieres; él respondía: No, sino ahora la has de dar: de otra manera yo la tomaré por fuerza.

And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.

If the man said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take as much as your soul desires;” then he would say, “No, but you shall give it to me now; and if not, I will take it by force.”

Et le péché de ces jeunes hommes fut très-grand devant l’Eternel ; car les gens en méprisaient l’oblation de l’Eternel.

Era pues el pecado de los mozos muy grande delante de Jehová; porque los hombres menospreciaban los sacrificios de Jehová.

Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.

The sin of the young men was very great before the LORD; for the men despised the LORD’s offering.

Or Samuel servait en la présence de l’Eternel, étant jeune garçon, vêtu d’un Ephod de lin.

Y el joven Samuel ministraba delante de Jehová, vestido de un ephod de lino.

Sa mère lui faisait un petit roquet, qu’elle lui apportait tous les ans, quand elle montait avec son mari pour offrir le sacrifice solennel.

Y hacíale su madre una túnica pequeña, y traíasela cada año, cuando subía con su marido á ofrecer el sacrificio acostumbrado.

Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.

Et Héli bénit Elkana et sa femme, et dit : L’Eternel te fasse avoir des enfants de cette femme, pour le prêt qui a été fait à l’Eternel. Et ils s’en retournèrent chez eux.

Y Eli bendijo á Elcana y á su mujer, diciendo: Jehová te dé simiente de esta mujer en lugar de esta petición que hizo á Jehová. Y volviéronse á su casa.

And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.

Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, “May the LORD give you offspring from this woman for the petition which was asked of the LORD.” Then they went to their own home.

Et l’Eternel visita Anne, laquelle conçut et enfanta trois fils et deux filles ; et le jeune garçon Samuel devint grand en la présence de l’Eternel.

Y visitó Jehová á Anna, y concibió, y parió tres hijos, y dos hijas. Y el joven Samuel crecía delante de Jehová.

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

Or Héli était fort vieux, et il apprit tout ce que faisaient ses fils à tout Israël, et qu’ils couchaient avec les femmes qui s’assemblaient par troupes à la porte du Tabernacle d’assignation.

Eli empero era muy viejo, y oyó todo lo que sus hijos hacían á todo Israel, y como dormían con las mujeres que velaban á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.

Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Now Eli was very old; and he heard all that his sons did to all Israel, and how that they slept with the women who served at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

Et il leur dit : Pourquoi faites-vous ces actions-là ? car j’apprends vos méchantes actions ; ces choses me viennent de tout le peuple.

Y díjoles: ¿Por qué hacéis cosas semejantes? Porque yo oigo de todo este pueblo vuestros malos procederes.

And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.

He said to them, “Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all these people.

Ne faites pas ainsi, mes fils ; car ce que j’entends dire de vous n’est pas bon ; vous faites pécher le peuple de l’Eternel.

No, hijos míos; porque no es buena fama la que yo oigo: que hacéis pecar al pueblo de Jehová.

Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’s people to transgress.

No, my sons; for it is not a good report that I hear! You make the LORD’s people disobey.

Si un homme a péché contre un autre homme, le Juge en jugera ; mais si quelqu’un pèche contre l’Eternel, qui est-ce qui priera pour lui ? Mais ils n’obéirent point à la voix de leur père, parce que l’Eternel voulait les faire mourir.

Si pecare el hombre contra el hombre, los jueces le juzgarán; mas si alguno pecare contra Jehová, ¿quién rogará por él? Mas ellos no oyeron la voz de su padre, porque Jehová los quería matar.

If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.

If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?” Notwithstanding, they didn’t listen to the voice of their father, because the LORD intended to kill them.

Cependant le jeune garçon Samuel croissait et il était agréable à l’Eternel et aux hommes.

Y el joven Samuel iba creciendo, y adelantando delante de Dios y delante de los hombres.

And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

Or un homme de Dieu vint à Héli, et lui dit : Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : Ne me suis-je pas clairement manifesté à la maison de ton père, quand ils étaient en Egypte, en la maison de Pharaon ?

Y vino un varón de Dios á Eli, y díjole: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿No me manifesté yo claramente á la casa de tu padre, cuando estaban en Egipto en casa de Faraón?

And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

A man of God came to Eli and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Did I reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

Je l’ai aussi choisi d’entre toutes les Tribus d’Israël pour être mon Sacrificateur, afin d’offrir sur mon autel, et faire fumer les parfums, et porter l’Ephod devant moi ; et j’ai donné à la maison de ton père toutes les oblations des enfants d’Israël faites par le feu.

Y yo le escogí por mi sacerdote entre todas las tribus de Israel, para que ofreciese sobre mi altar, y quemase perfume, y trajese ephod delante de mí; y dí á la casa de tu padre todas las ofrendas de los hijos de Israel.

And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

Didn’t I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? Didn’t I give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire?

Pourquoi avez-vous regimbé contre mon sacrifice, et contre mon oblation que j’ai commandé de faire dans le Tabernacle ? et pourquoi as-tu honoré tes fils plus que moi, pour vous engraisser du meilleur de toutes les offrandes d’Israël mon peuple ?

¿Por qué habéis hollado mis sacrificios y mis presentes, que yo mandé ofrecer en el tabernáculo; y has honrado á tus hijos más que á mí, engordándoos de lo principal de todas las ofrendas de mi pueblo Israel?

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel my people?’

C’est pourquoi l’Eternel le Dieu d’Israël dit : J’avais dit certainement que ta maison et la maison de ton père marcheraient devant moi éternellement ; mais maintenant l’Eternel dit : Il ne sera pas dit que je fasse cela ; car j’honorerai ceux qui m’honorent, mais ceux qui me méprisent seront traités avec le dernier mépris.

Por tanto, Jehová el Dios de Israel dice: Yo había dicho que tu casa y la casa de tu padre andarían delante de mí perpetuamente; mas ahora ha dicho Jehová: Nunca yo tal haga, porque yo honraré á los que me honran, y los que me tuvieren en poco, serán viles.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

“Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now the LORD says, ‘Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

Voici les jours viennent que je couperai ton bras, et le bras de la maison de ton père, tellement qu’il n’y aura aucun homme en ta maison qui devienne vieux.

He aquí vienen días, en que cortaré tu brazo, y el brazo de la casa de tu padre, que no haya viejo en tu casa.

Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

Behold, the days come that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father’s house, that there will not be an old man in your house.

Et tu verras un adversaire établi dans le Tabernacle, au temps que Dieu enverra toute sorte de biens à Israël ; et il n’y aura jamais en ta maison aucun homme qui devienne vieux.

Y verás competidor en el tabernáculo, en todas las cosas en que hiciere bien á Israel; y en ningún tiempo habrá viejo en tu casa.

And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

You will see the affliction of my habitation, in all the wealth which I will give Israel. There shall not be an old man in your house forever.

Et celui de tes descendants que je n’aurai point retranché d’auprès de mon autel, sera pour faire défaillir tes yeux, et affliger ton âme ; et tous les enfants de ta maison mourront en la fleur de l’âge.

Y no te cortaré del todo varón de mi altar, para hacerte marchitar tus ojos, y henchir tu ánimo de dolor; mas toda la cría de tu casa morirá en la edad varonil.

And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

The man of yours whom I don’t cut off from my altar will consume your eyes and grieve your heart. All the increase of your house will die in the flower of their age.

Et ceci t’en sera le signe, savoir ce qui arrivera à tes deux fils, Hophni et Phinées, c’est qu’ils mourront tous deux en un même jour.

Y te será por señal esto que acontecerá á tus dos hijos, Ophni y Phinees: ambos morirán en un día.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

This will be the sign to you that will come on your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they will both die.

Et je m’établirai un Sacrificateur assuré ; il fera selon ce qui est en mon cœur, et selon mon âme ; et je lui édifierai une maison assurée, et il marchera à toujours devant mon Oint.

Y yo me suscitaré un sacerdote fiel, que haga conforme á mi corazón y á mi alma; y yo le edificaré casa firme, y andará delante de mi ungido todos los días.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

I will raise up a faithful priest for myself who will do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind. I will build him a sure house. He will walk before my anointed forever.

Et il arrivera que quiconque sera resté de ta maison, viendra se prosterner devant lui pour avoir une pièce d’argent, et quelque pain, et dira : Donne-moi une place, je te prie, dans quelqu’une des charges de la Sacrificature, pour manger un morceau de pain.

Y será que el que hubiere quedado en tu casa, vendrá á postrársele por un dinero de plata y un bocado de pan, diciéndole: Ruégote que me constituyas en algún ministerio, para que coma un bocado de pan.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

It will happen that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread, and will say, “Please put me into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a morsel of bread.”’”
