Hanna aber betete so: »Mein Herz frohlockt in dem HERRN, hoch ragt mein Horn durch den HERRN; mein Mund hat weit sich aufgetan gegen meine Feinde, denn ich freue mich deiner Hilfe.

Y ANNA oró y dijo: mi corazón se regocija en Jehová, mi cuerno es ensalzado en Jehová; mi boca se ensanchó sobre mis enemigos, por cuanto me alegré en tu salud.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Niemand ist heilig wie der HERR, denn keiner ist da außer dir und keiner ein Fels wie unser Gott.

No hay santo como Jehová: porque no hay ninguno fuera de ti; y no hay refugio como el Dios nuestro.

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

There is no one as holy as the LORD, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.

Laßt euer ewiges stolzes Reden: kein vermessenes Wort entfahre eurem Munde! Denn ein allwissender Gott ist der HERR und ein Gott, von dem die Taten gewogen werden.

No multipliquéis hablando grandezas, altanerías; cesen las palabras arrogantes de vuestra boca; porque el Dios de todo saber es Jehová, y á él toca el pesar las acciones.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed.

Der Bogen der Starken wird zerbrochen, Strauchelnde aber gürten sich mit Kraft.

Los arcos de los fuertes fueron quebrados, y los flacos se ciñeron de fortaleza.

The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

“The bows of the mighty men are broken. Those who stumbled are armed with strength.

Die da satt waren, müssen um Brot sich verdingen, aber die Hunger litten, hungern nicht mehr; sogar die Unfruchtbare wird Mutter von sieben, aber die Kinderreiche welkt dahin.

Los hartos se alquilaron por pan: y cesaron los hambrientos: hasta parir siete la estéril, y la que tenía muchos hijos enfermó.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread. Those who were hungry are satisfied. Yes, the barren has borne seven. She who has many children languishes.

Der HERR tötet und macht lebendig, er stößt ins Totenreich hinab und führt herauf;

Jehová mata, y él da vida: él hace descender al sepulcro, y hace subir.

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

der HERR macht arm und macht reich, er erniedrigt und erhöht auch;

Jehová empobrece, y él enriquece: abate, y ensalza.

The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

The LORD makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

er hebt den Geringen empor aus dem Staube, erhöht den Armen aus dem Kehricht, um sie neben den Fürsten sitzen zu lassen und den Ehrenstuhl ihnen anzuweisen. Denn in der Hand des HERRN sind die Säulen der Erde, und den Erdkreis hat er darauf gegründet.

El levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso ensalza del estiércol, para asentarlo con los príncipes; y hace que tengan por heredad asiento de honra: porque de Jehová son las columnas de la tierra, y él asentó sobre ellas el mundo.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them.

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s. He has set the world on them.

Die Schritte seiner Frommen behütet er, aber die Gottlosen verstummen in der Finsternis; denn nicht durch (eigene) Kraft gewinnt der Mensch den Sieg.

El guarda los pies de sus santos, mas los impíos perecen en tinieblas; porque nadie será fuerte por su fuerza.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength.

Die Widersacher des HERRN werden zerschmettert, über ihnen donnert er im Himmel; der HERR richtet die Enden der Erde. Stärke verleiht er seinem König und erhöht das Horn seines Gesalbten.«

Delante de Jehová serán quebrantados sus adversarios, y sobre ellos tronará desde los cielos: Jehová juzgará los términos de la tierra, y dará fortaleza á su Rey, y ensalzará el cuerno de su Mesías.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Those who strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

Darauf kehrte Elkana nach Rama in sein Haus zurück; der Knabe aber diente dem HERRN unter der Aufsicht des Priesters Eli.

And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.

Die Söhne Elis aber waren nichtswürdige Buben, die sich weder um den HERRN

Mas los hijos de Eli eran hombres impíos, y no tenían conocimiento de Jehová.

Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

noch um das Recht der Priester gegenüber dem Volke kümmerten. Sooft nämlich jemand ein Schlachtopfer darbrachte, kam, während man das Fleisch noch kochte, der Diener des Priesters mit einer dreizinkigen Gabel in der Hand

Y la costumbre de los sacerdotes con el pueblo era que, cuando alguno ofrecía sacrificio, venía el criado del sacerdote mientras la carne estaba á cocer, trayendo en su mano un garfio de tres ganchos;

And the priests’ custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;

und stieß damit in den Kessel oder den Topf, in die Pfanne oder den Tiegel, und alles, was die Gabel dann heraufbrachte, nahm der Priester für sich. So machten sie es in Silo bei allen Israeliten, die dorthin kamen.

Y hería con él en la caldera, ó en la olla, ó en el caldero, ó en el pote; y todo lo que sacaba el garfio, el sacerdote lo tomaba para si. De esta manera hacían á todo Israelita que venía á Silo.

And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.

Sogar noch ehe man das Fett in Rauch hatte aufgehen lassen, kam der Diener des Priesters und sagte zu dem, der das Opfer darbrachte: »Gib Fleisch her zum Braten für den Priester! Denn er will kein gekochtes Fleisch von dir haben, sondern rohes.«

Asimismo, antes de quemar el sebo, venía el criado del sacerdote, y decía al que sacrificaba: Da carne que ase para el sacerdote; porque no tomará de ti carne cocida, sino cruda.

Also before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.

Wenn dann der betreffende Mann ihm entgegnete: »Zuerst muß doch das Fett verbrannt werden, dann magst du dir nehmen, wie es dir beliebt!«, so antwortete er: »Nein, gleich jetzt sollst du es hergeben, sonst nehme ich es mit Gewalt!«

And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.

If the man said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take as much as your soul desires;” then he would say, “No, but you shall give it to me now; and if not, I will take it by force.”

So war denn die Versündigung der beiden jungen Männer sehr schwer vor dem HERRN, weil sie das Opfer des HERRN geringschätzig behandelten.

Era pues el pecado de los mozos muy grande delante de Jehová; porque los hombres menospreciaban los sacrificios de Jehová.

Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.

Samuel aber versah den Dienst vor dem HERRN als Tempelknabe, mit einem linnenen Schulterkleid umgürtet;

Dann segnete Eli jedesmal den Elkana und seine Frau mit den Worten: »Der HERR wolle dir Kinder von dieser Frau schenken als Entgelt für das Darlehen, das sie dem HERRN geliehen hat!« Danach kehrten sie nach Hause zurück.

Der HERR aber segnete Hanna, so daß sie wiederum guter Hoffnung wurde und noch drei Söhne und zwei Töchter gebar. Der junge Samuel aber wuchs heran beim HERRN.

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

Wenn nun Eli, der ein sehr alter Mann war, von allem hörte, was seine Söhne an allen Israeliten verübten, auch daß sie sich mit den Weibern vergingen, die draußen vor dem Offenbarungszelt sich einfanden,

Eli empero era muy viejo, y oyó todo lo que sus hijos hacían á todo Israel, y como dormían con las mujeres que velaban á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.

Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

dann sagte er zu ihnen: »Warum laßt ihr euch dergleichen zuschulden kommen? Denn ich höre diese üblen Reden über euch von allen Leuten hier.

Nicht doch, meine Söhne! Denn das ist kein gutes Gerücht, das vom Volk des HERRN, wie ich höre, über euch verbreitet wird.

No, hijos míos; porque no es buena fama la que yo oigo: que hacéis pecar al pueblo de Jehová.

Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’s people to transgress.

No, my sons; for it is not a good report that I hear! You make the LORD’s people disobey.

Wenn sich ein Mensch gegen einen Menschen vergeht, so entscheidet die Gottheit als Richter über ihn; wenn sich aber ein Mensch gegen den HERRN vergeht, wer könnte da als Vermittler für ihn eintreten?« Doch sie hörten nicht auf die Mahnungen ihres Vaters, denn der HERR hatte ihren Tod beschlossen. –

Si pecare el hombre contra el hombre, los jueces le juzgarán; mas si alguno pecare contra Jehová, ¿quién rogará por él? Mas ellos no oyeron la voz de su padre, porque Jehová los quería matar.

If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.

If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?” Notwithstanding, they didn’t listen to the voice of their father, because the LORD intended to kill them.

Der junge Samuel aber wuchs immer mehr heran und gewann an Liebe sowohl beim HERRN als auch bei den Menschen.

And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

A man of God came to Eli and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Did I reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

und habe ihn mir aus allen Stämmen Israels zum Priester erwählt, damit er zu meinem Altar hinaufsteige und Räucherwerk anzünde und das Schulterkleid vor mir trage; und ich habe dem Hause deines Vaters alle Feueropfer der Israeliten zum Unterhalt zugewiesen.

Y yo le escogí por mi sacerdote entre todas las tribus de Israel, para que ofreciese sobre mi altar, y quemase perfume, y trajese ephod delante de mí; y dí á la casa de tu padre todas las ofrendas de los hijos de Israel.

And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

Didn’t I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? Didn’t I give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire?

Warum tretet ihr nun mit Füßen meine Schlachtopfer und meine Speisopfer, die ich für meine Wohnung angeordnet habe? Und warum ehrst du deine Söhne mehr als mich, so daß ihr euch von den Erstlingen aller Opfergaben meines Volkes Israel mästet?‹

¿Por qué habéis hollado mis sacrificios y mis presentes, que yo mandé ofrecer en el tabernáculo; y has honrado á tus hijos más que á mí, engordándoos de lo principal de todas las ofrendas de mi pueblo Israel?

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel my people?’

Darum lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN, des Gottes Israels, so: ›Ich habe allerdings gesagt: Dein Haus und deines Vaters Haus sollen ewiglich vor mir einhergehen‹; jetzt aber lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN so: ›Fern sei das von mir! Nein, wer mich ehrt, den will ich wieder ehren, aber wer mich verachtet, der wird erniedrigt werden.

Por tanto, Jehová el Dios de Israel dice: Yo había dicho que tu casa y la casa de tu padre andarían delante de mí perpetuamente; mas ahora ha dicho Jehová: Nunca yo tal haga, porque yo honraré á los que me honran, y los que me tuvieren en poco, serán viles.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

“Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now the LORD says, ‘Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

Wisse wohl: es kommt die Zeit, da werde ich deinen Arm und den Arm deines ganzen Geschlechts abhauen, so daß es keinen Betagten mehr in deinem Hause geben soll.

He aquí vienen días, en que cortaré tu brazo, y el brazo de la casa de tu padre, que no haya viejo en tu casa.

Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

Behold, the days come that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father’s house, that there will not be an old man in your house.

Dann wirst du neidisch auf alles Glück hinblicken, mit dem der HERR Israel segnen wird, während sich in deinem Hause nie mehr ein Betagter finden wird.

Y verás competidor en el tabernáculo, en todas las cosas en que hiciere bien á Israel; y en ningún tiempo habrá viejo en tu casa.

And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

You will see the affliction of my habitation, in all the wealth which I will give Israel. There shall not be an old man in your house forever.

Und gesetzt, ich tilge dir einmal einen nicht weg von meinem Altar, um deine Augen nicht verschmachten und dein Herz sich nicht abhärmen zu lassen, so soll doch aller Nachwuchs deines Hauses schon im Mannesalter sterben.

Y no te cortaré del todo varón de mi altar, para hacerte marchitar tus ojos, y henchir tu ánimo de dolor; mas toda la cría de tu casa morirá en la edad varonil.

And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

The man of yours whom I don’t cut off from my altar will consume your eyes and grieve your heart. All the increase of your house will die in the flower of their age.

Und das Schicksal, das deine beiden Söhne Hophni und Pinehas treffen wird, soll dir ein Zeichen sein: an einem Tage werden sie beide sterben!

Y te será por señal esto que acontecerá á tus dos hijos, Ophni y Phinees: ambos morirán en un día.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

This will be the sign to you that will come on your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they will both die.

Mir aber will ich einen treuen Priester erstehen lassen, der nach meinem Herzen und nach meinem Sinn handelt; dem will ich ein Haus bauen, das Bestand hat, und er soll allezeit vor meinem Gesalbten einhergehen.

Y yo me suscitaré un sacerdote fiel, que haga conforme á mi corazón y á mi alma; y yo le edificaré casa firme, y andará delante de mi ungido todos los días.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

I will raise up a faithful priest for myself who will do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind. I will build him a sure house. He will walk before my anointed forever.

Dann wird es dahin kommen, daß jeder, der von deinem Hause noch übriggeblieben ist, herbeikommt und sich vor ihm niederwirft, um ein Geldstück als Almosen oder einen Laib Brot zu erbetteln, und die Bitte ausspricht: Bringe mich doch bei einer der Priesterschaften unter, damit ich ein Stück Brot zu essen habe!‹«

Y será que el que hubiere quedado en tu casa, vendrá á postrársele por un dinero de plata y un bocado de pan, diciéndole: Ruégote que me constituyas en algún ministerio, para que coma un bocado de pan.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

It will happen that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread, and will say, “Please put me into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a morsel of bread.”’”
