Und Channah betete und sprach: Mein Herz jauchzt in Jehovah, erhöht ist mein Horn in Jehovah, weit ist mein Mund über meine Feinde, denn ich bin fröhlich in Deinem Heil.

Y ANNA oró y dijo: mi corazón se regocija en Jehová, mi cuerno es ensalzado en Jehová; mi boca se ensanchó sobre mis enemigos, por cuanto me alegré en tu salud.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Keiner ist heilig wie Jehovah; denn außer Dir ist keiner, und kein Fels, wie unser Gott.

No hay santo como Jehová: porque no hay ninguno fuera de ti; y no hay refugio como el Dios nuestro.

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Mehret es nicht! Redet Hohes, ja Hohes; Altes komme aus eurem Munde; denn ein Gott des Wissens ist Jehovah, und von Ihm werden die Handlungen gewogen.

No multipliquéis hablando grandezas, altanerías; cesen las palabras arrogantes de vuestra boca; porque el Dios de todo saber es Jehová, y á él toca el pesar las acciones.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed.

Zerbrochen ist der Bogen der Mächtigen, und die Strauchelnden umgürten sich mit Tapferkeit.

Los arcos de los fuertes fueron quebrados, y los flacos se ciñeron de fortaleza.

The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

Die Satten verdingen sich um Brot, und die Hungrigen hören auf, bis daß die Unfruchtbare gebiert sieben, und die mit vielen Söhnen verschmachtet.

Los hartos se alquilaron por pan: y cesaron los hambrientos: hasta parir siete la estéril, y la que tenía muchos hijos enfermó.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread. Those who were hungry are satisfied. Yes, the barren has borne seven. She who has many children languishes.

Jehovah tötet und macht lebendig, Er bringt in die Hölle hinab und Er bringt herauf.

Jehová mata, y él da vida: él hace descender al sepulcro, y hace subir.

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

“The LORD kills and makes alive. He brings down to Sheol and brings up.

Jehovah läßt verkommen und macht reich, erniedrigt und erhöht auch,

Jehová empobrece, y él enriquece: abate, y ensalza.

The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

The LORD makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

Er richtet auf den Armen aus dem Staube, aus dem Kot erhöht Er den Dürftigen, Er läßt ihn mit den Edlen sitzen, läßt sie erben den Thron der Herrlichkeit; denn des Jehovah sind die Grundfesten der Erde, und die Welt hat Er darauf gesetzt.

El levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso ensalza del estiércol, para asentarlo con los príncipes; y hace que tengan por heredad asiento de honra: porque de Jehová son las columnas de la tierra, y él asentó sobre ellas el mundo.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them.

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s. He has set the world on them.

Die Füße Seiner Heiligen wird Er behüten, die Ungerechten aber müssen stille sein in der Finsternis; denn nicht durch Kraft hat der Mann Obmacht.

El guarda los pies de sus santos, mas los impíos perecen en tinieblas; porque nadie será fuerte por su fuerza.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength.

Zusammenbrechen werden, die mit Jehovah hadern. Über ihnen in dem Himmel wird er donnern; Jehovah rechtet mit den Enden der Erde, und Er gibt Stärke Seinem Könige, und erhöht das Horn Seines Gesalbten.

Delante de Jehová serán quebrantados sus adversarios, y sobre ellos tronará desde los cielos: Jehová juzgará los términos de la tierra, y dará fortaleza á su Rey, y ensalzará el cuerno de su Mesías.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Those who strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

Und Elkanah ging nach seinem Haus nach Ramah; und der Junge diente Jehovah vor dem Angesichte des Priesters Eli.

And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.

Elis Söhne aber waren Belialssöhne, sie kannten nicht den Jehovah,

Noch das Recht der Priester an das Volk. Wenn irgendein Mann ein Opfer opferte, da kam der Junge des Priesters, wann das Fleisch kochte, und die Fleischgabel mit drei Zacken in seiner Hand.

Y la costumbre de los sacerdotes con el pueblo era que, cuando alguno ofrecía sacrificio, venía el criado del sacerdote mientras la carne estaba á cocer, trayendo en su mano un garfio de tres ganchos;

And the priests’ custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;

The custom of the priests with the people was that when anyone offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant came while the meat was boiling, with a fork of three teeth in his hand;

Und stieß sie in das Becken oder in den Tiegel oder in den Kessel oder in den Topf; alles, was die Gabel heraufbrachte, das nahm der Priester für sich. Also taten sie ganz Israel, das dahin nach Schiloh kam.

Y hería con él en la caldera, ó en la olla, ó en el caldero, ó en el pote; y todo lo que sacaba el garfio, el sacerdote lo tomaba para si. De esta manera hacían á todo Israelita que venía á Silo.

And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.

So auch ehe sie das Fett anzündeten, da kam der Junge des Priesters und sprach zu dem Manne, der opferte: Gib Fleisch zum Braten für den Priester; denn er wird kein gekochtes Fleisch von dir nehmen, sondern rohes.

Asimismo, antes de quemar el sebo, venía el criado del sacerdote, y decía al que sacrificaba: Da carne que ase para el sacerdote; porque no tomará de ti carne cocida, sino cruda.

Also before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.

Yes, before they burned the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man who sacrificed, “Give meat to roast for the priest; for he will not accept boiled meat from you, but raw.”

Und sagte ihm der Mann: Lasset das Fett diesen Tag anzünden, dann nimm dir, was deine Seele gelüstet; so sprach er zu ihm: Jetzt sollst du mir es geben, und wenn nicht, so nehme ich es mit Gewalt.

And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.

If the man said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take as much as your soul desires;” then he would say, “No, but you shall give it to me now; and if not, I will take it by force.”

Und die Sünde der Jungen ward sehr groß vor Jehovah; denn die Leute lästerten das Speiseopfer Jehovahs.

Era pues el pecado de los mozos muy grande delante de Jehová; porque los hombres menospreciaban los sacrificios de Jehová.

Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.

Und Samuel tat Dienst vor dem Angesichte Jehovahs, und der Junge war mit dem leinenen Ephod gegürtet.

Und Jehovah suchte Channah heim, und sie empfing und gebar drei Söhne und zwei Töchter. Und der junge Samuel wurde groß bei Jehovah.

Und Eli war sehr alt und hörte alles, was seine Söhne taten an ganz Israel, und daß sie lagen bei den Weibern, die ausrückten an den Eingang des Versammlungszeltes.

Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Warum tut ihr solche Dinge? Böse Dinge höre ich von euch von diesem ganzen Volke.

And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.

Nicht doch, meine Söhne, denn nicht gut ist das Gerücht, das ich höre, wie ihr das Volk Jehovahs überschreiten macht.

No, hijos míos; porque no es buena fama la que yo oigo: que hacéis pecar al pueblo de Jehová.

Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’s people to transgress.

No, my sons; for it is not a good report that I hear! You make the LORD’s people disobey.

So ein Mann sich gegen einen Mann versündigt, so mag er für ihn beten zu Gott; wenn aber ein Mann wider Jehovah sündigt, wer wird beten für ihn? Aber sie hörten nicht auf die Stimme ihres Vaters, denn Jehovah hatte Lust, sie zu töten.

Si pecare el hombre contra el hombre, los jueces le juzgarán; mas si alguno pecare contra Jehová, ¿quién rogará por él? Mas ellos no oyeron la voz de su padre, porque Jehová los quería matar.

If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.

If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?” Notwithstanding, they didn’t listen to the voice of their father, because the LORD intended to kill them.

Und der junge Samuel ging hin und wurde groß und gut, sowohl bei Jehovah, als auch bei den Leuten.

Y vino un varón de Dios á Eli, y díjole: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿No me manifesté yo claramente á la casa de tu padre, cuando estaban en Egipto en casa de Faraón?

And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

A man of God came to Eli and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Did I reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

Und habe ihn Mir zum Priester erwählt aus allen Stämmen Israels, daß er heraufsteige zu Meinem Altar, daß er anzünde das Räuchwerk, daß er trage das Ephod vor Mir; und Ich gab dem Hause deines Vaters alle Feueropfer der Söhne Israels.

And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

Didn’t I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? Didn’t I give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire?

Warum habt ihr ausgeschlagen wider Mein Schlachtopfer und wider Mein Speiseopfer, die Ich geboten habe in Meiner Wohnstätte, und hast deine Söhne mehr denn Mich verherrlicht, indem ihr euch mästet von dem Erstlinge alles Speiseopfers Meines Volkes Israel?

¿Por qué habéis hollado mis sacrificios y mis presentes, que yo mandé ofrecer en el tabernáculo; y has honrado á tus hijos más que á mí, engordándoos de lo principal de todas las ofrendas de mi pueblo Israel?

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel my people?’

Darum sagt Jehovah, der Gott Israels: Ich habe gesprochen: Dein Haus und deines Vaters Haus sollen wandeln vor Mir ewiglich. Jetzt aber sagt Jehovah: Ferne sei es von Mir, denn die Mich verherrlichen, werde Ich verherrlichen, aber die Mich verachten, sollen gering geachtet werden.

Por tanto, Jehová el Dios de Israel dice: Yo había dicho que tu casa y la casa de tu padre andarían delante de mí perpetuamente; mas ahora ha dicho Jehová: Nunca yo tal haga, porque yo honraré á los que me honran, y los que me tuvieren en poco, serán viles.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

“Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now the LORD says, ‘Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

Siehe, die Tage kommen, da Ich abhaue deinen Arm und den Arm von deines Vaters Haus, so daß nicht sei ein Alter in deinem Hause;

He aquí vienen días, en que cortaré tu brazo, y el brazo de la casa de tu padre, que no haya viejo en tu casa.

Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

Behold, the days come that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father’s house, that there will not be an old man in your house.

Und du sollst den Dränger der Wohnstätte erblicken in allem, da Er Israel Gutes tut. Und kein Alter soll all die Tage in deinem Hause sein.

Y verás competidor en el tabernáculo, en todas las cosas en que hiciere bien á Israel; y en ningún tiempo habrá viejo en tu casa.

And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

You will see the affliction of my habitation, in all the wealth which I will give Israel. There shall not be an old man in your house forever.

Doch rotte Ich dir nicht jeden Mann von Meinem Altare aus, daß deine Augen sich verzehren und deine Seele vergehe; aber aller Zuwachs deines Hauses, sie sollen als Männer sterben.

Y no te cortaré del todo varón de mi altar, para hacerte marchitar tus ojos, y henchir tu ánimo de dolor; mas toda la cría de tu casa morirá en la edad varonil.

And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

The man of yours whom I don’t cut off from my altar will consume your eyes and grieve your heart. All the increase of your house will die in the flower of their age.

Und dies soll dir das Zeichen sein, das kommen wird über deine zwei Söhne, über Chophni und Pinechas; an einem Tage sollen sie beide sterben.

Y te será por señal esto que acontecerá á tus dos hijos, Ophni y Phinees: ambos morirán en un día.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

This will be the sign to you that will come on your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they will both die.

Und Ich will einen treuen Priester mir erstehen lassen, der nach dem, was in Meinem Herzen und in Meiner Seele ist, tut; und ihm will Ich ein treues Haus bauen, daß er vor Meinem Gesalbten alle Tage wandeln wird.

Y yo me suscitaré un sacerdote fiel, que haga conforme á mi corazón y á mi alma; y yo le edificaré casa firme, y andará delante de mi ungido todos los días.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

I will raise up a faithful priest for myself who will do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind. I will build him a sure house. He will walk before my anointed forever.

Und es soll geschehen, daß, wer in deinem Hause überbleibt, komme und vor ihm niederfalle um eine silberne Münze und einen Laib Brot, und spreche: Laß mich teilhaben an einem der Priesterämter, daß ich einen Bissen Brot esse.

Y será que el que hubiere quedado en tu casa, vendrá á postrársele por un dinero de plata y un bocado de pan, diciéndole: Ruégote que me constituyas en algún ministerio, para que coma un bocado de pan.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

It will happen that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread, and will say, “Please put me into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a morsel of bread.”’”
