Or trois jours après David et ses gens étant revenus à Tsiklag, trouvèrent que les Hamalécites s’étaient jetés du côté du Midi, et sur Tsiklag, et qu’ils avaient frappé Tsiklag, et l’avaient brûlée ;

David donc s’en alla avec les six cents hommes qui étaient avec lui, et ils arrivèrent au torrent de Bésor, où s’arrêtèrent ceux qui demeuraient en arrière.

And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days agone I fell sick.

Nous nous étions jetés du côté du Midi des Keréthiens, et sur ce qui est de Juda, et du côté du Midi de Caleb, et nous avons brûlé Tsiklag par feu.

Pues hicimos una incursión á la parte del mediodía de Cerethi, y á Judá, y al mediodía de Caleb; y pusimos fuego á Siclag.

Et David lui dit : Me conduiras-tu bien vers cette troupe-là ? Et il répondit : Jure-moi par le nom de Dieu que tu ne me feras point mourir, et que tu ne me livreras point entre les mains de mon maître, et je te conduirai vers cette troupe-là.

And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company.

David said to him, “Will you bring me down to this troop?” He said, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me and not deliver me up into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this troop.”

Et il le conduisit dans ce lieu-là. Et voici, ils étaient dispersés sur toute la terre, mangeant, buvant, et dansant, à cause de ce grand butin qu’ils avaient pris au pays des Philistins, et au pays de Juda.

Entonces todos los malos y perversos de entre los que habían ido con David, respondieron y dijeron: Pues que no fueron con nosotros, no les daremos de la presa que hemos quitado, sino á cada uno su mujer y sus hijos; los cuales tomen y se vayan.

Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.

Then all the wicked men and worthless fellows of those who went with David answered and said, “Because they didn’t go with us, we will not give them anything of the plunder that we have recovered, except to every man his wife and his children, that he may lead them away and depart.”

Mais David dit : Mes frères, vous ne ferez pas ainsi de ce que l’Eternel nous a donné, lequel nous a gardés, et a livré entre nos mains la troupe qui était venue contre nous.

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.

Then David said, “Do not do so, my brothers, with that which the LORD has given to us, who has preserved us, and delivered the troop that came against us into our hand.

Qui vous croirait en ce cas-ci ? car celui qui demeure au bagage doit avoir autant de part que celui qui descend à la bataille ; ils partageront également.

¿Y quién os escuchará en este caso? porque igual parte ha de ser la de los que vienen á la batalla, y la de los que quedan con el bagaje: que partan juntamente.

For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.

Ce qui fut ainsi pratiqué depuis ce jour-là, et il en fut fait une ordonnance et une loi en Israël, jusqu’à ce jour.

David donc revint à Tsiklag, et envoya du butin aux Anciens de Juda, savoir à ses amis, en disant : Voici, un présent pour vous, du butin des ennemis de l’Eternel.

Y como David llegó á Siclag, envió de la presa á los ancianos de Judá, sus amigos, diciendo: He aquí una bendición para vosotros, de la presa de los enemigos de Jehová.

And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;

Il en envoya à ceux qui étaient à Béthel, et à ceux qui étaient à Ramoth du Midi, et à ceux qui étaient à Jattir,

And to them which were in Rachal, and to them which were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, and to them which were in the cities of the Kenites,

to those who were in Racal, to those who were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, to those who were in the cities of the Kenites,

Et à ceux qui étaient à Horma, et à ceux qui étaient à Cor-hasan, et à ceux qui étaient à Hathac,

Y á los que estaban en Horma, y á los que estaban en Chôrasán, y á los que estaban en Athach;

And to them which were in Hormah, and to them which were in Chor-ashan, and to them which were in Athach,

to those who were in Hormah, to those who were in Borashan, to those who were in Athach,

Et à ceux qui étaient à Hébron, et dans tous les lieux où David avait demeuré, lui et ses gens.
