1 Samuel 31

Die Philister aber kämpften gegen Israel; und die Männer von Israel flohen vor den Philistern, und Erschlagene fielen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa.

LOS Filisteos pues pelearon con Israel, y los de Israel huyeron delante de los Filisteos, y cayeron muertos en el monte de Gilboa.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.

Und die Philister setzten Saul und seinen Söhnen hart nach; und die Philister erschlugen Jonathan und Abinadab und Malkischua, die Söhne Sauls.

Y siguiendo los Filisteos á Saúl y á sus hijos, mataron á Jonathán, y á Abinadab, y á Melchîsua, hijos de Saúl.

And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, Saul’s sons.

The Philistines overtook Saul and his sons; and the Philistines killed Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.

Und der Kampf wurde heftig gegen Saul, und es erreichten ihn die Schützen, Männer mit dem Bogen; und es wurde ihm sehr angst vor den Schützen.

Y agravóse la batalla sobre Saúl, y le alcanzaron los flecheros; y tuvo gran temor de los flecheros.

And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.

Da sprach Saul zu seinem Waffenträger: Zieh dein Schwert und durchbohre mich damit, dass nicht diese Unbeschnittenen kommen und mich durchbohren und mich misshandeln! Sein Waffenträger aber wollte nicht, denn er fürchtete sich sehr. Da nahm Saul das Schwert und stürzte sich hinein.

Entonces dijo Saúl á su escudero: Saca tu espada, y pásame con ella, porque no vengan estos incircuncisos, y me pasen, y me escarnezcan. Mas su escudero no quería, porque tenía gran temor. Entonces tomó Saúl la espada, y echóse sobre ella.

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

Then Saul said to his armor bearer, “Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abuse me!” But his armor bearer would not, for he was terrified. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell on it.

Und als sein Waffenträger sah, dass Saul tot war, da stürzte auch er sich in sein Schwert und starb mit ihm.

Y viendo su escudero á Saúl muerto, él también se echó sobre su espada, y murió con él.

And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.

So starben Saul und seine drei Söhne und sein Waffenträger, auch alle seine Männer an demselben Tag zugleich.

Und als die Männer von Israel, die diesseits des Tales und diesseits des Jordan waren, sahen, dass die Männer von Israel geflohen, und dass Saul und seine Söhne tot waren, da verließen sie die Städte und flohen; und die Philister kamen und wohnten darin.

Y los de Israel que eran de la otra parte del valle, y de la otra parte del Jordán, viendo que Israel había huído, y que Saúl y sus hijos eran muertos, dejaron las ciudades y huyeron; y los Filisteos vinieron y habitaron en ellas.

And when the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

Und es geschah am folgenden Tag, da kamen die Philister, um die Erschlagenen auszuziehen; und sie fanden Saul und seine drei Söhne auf dem Gebirge Gilboa liegen.

Y aconteció el siguiente día, que viniendo los Filisteos á despojar los muertos, hallaron á Saúl y á sus tres hijos tendidos en el monte de Gilboa;

And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.

Und sie hieben ihm den Kopf ab und zogen ihm seine Waffen aus; und sie sandten in das Land der Philister ringsumher, um die frohe Botschaft in den Häusern ihrer Götzen und unter dem Volk zu verkünden.

da machten sich alle tapferen Männer auf und gingen die ganze Nacht; und sie nahmen den Leichnam Sauls und die Leichname seiner Söhne von der Mauer von Beth-Schan weg; und sie kamen nach Jabes zurück und verbrannten sie dort.

Todos los hombres valientes se levantaron, y anduvieron toda aquella noche, y quitaron el cuerpo de Saúl y los cuerpos de sus hijos del muro de Beth-san; y viniendo á Jabes, quemáronlos allí.

All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
