1 Samuel 3

Le jeune Samuel servait donc le Seigneur sous les yeux d'Héli. A cette époque, la parole de l'Eternel était rare, la vision prophétique peu répandue.

Y EL joven Samuel ministraba á Jehová delante de Eli: y la palabra de Jehová era de estima en aquellos días; no había visión manifiesta.

And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

The child Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. The LORD’s word was rare in those days. There were not many visions, then.

Or, en ce temps-là, Héli, dont les yeux commençaient à s'obscurcir et qui y voyait à peine, était couché à sa place habituelle;

Y aconteció un día, que estando Eli acostado en su aposento, cuando sus ojos comenzaban á oscurecerse, que no podía ver,

And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;

At that time, when Eli was laid down in his place (now his eyes had begun to grow dim, so that he could not see),

Samuel aussi dormait, et la lampe sacrée brûlait encore dans le temple de l'Eternel, où était l'arche divine,

Samuel estaba durmiendo en el templo de Jehová, donde el arca de Dios estaba: y antes que la lámpara de Dios fuese apagada,

And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

and God’s lamp hadn’t yet gone out, and Samuel had laid down in the LORD’s temple where God’s ark was,

lorsque l'Eternel appela Samuel, qui répondit: "Me voici!"

Jehová llamó á Samuel; y él respondió: Heme aquí.

That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

The LORD called Samuel. He said, “Here I am.”

Et il accourut près d'Héli en disant: "Tu m'as appelé, me voici." Héli répondit: "Je n'ai point appelé; va te recoucher." Ce que fit Samuel.

Y corriendo luego á Eli, dijo: Heme aquí; ¿para qué me llamaste? Y Eli le dijo: Yo no he llamado; vuélvete á acostar. Y él se volvió, y acostóse.

And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

He ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.” He said, “I didn’t call. Lie down again.” He went and lay down.

L'Eternel appela de nouveau: "Samuel !" Celui-ci se leva, alla trouver Héli en disant: "Tu m'as appelé, me voici", et Héli répondit: "Je n'ai point appelé, mon enfant; recouche-toi."

Y Jehová volvió á llamar otra vez á Samuel. Y levantándose Samuel vino á Eli, y dijo: Heme aquí; ¿para qué me has llamado? Y él dijo: Hijo mío, yo no he llamado; vuelve, y acuéstate.

And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

The LORD called yet again, “Samuel!” Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.” He answered, “I didn’t call, my son. Lie down again.”

Samuel ne connaissait pas encore l'Eternel, la parole divine ne s'étant pas encore révélée à lui.

Y Samuel no había conocido aún á Jehová, ni la palabra de Jehová le había sido revelada.

Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

Une troisième fois, Dieu appela: "Samuel!" Il se leva et s'en fut auprès d'Héli en disant: "Tu m'as appelé, me voici." Alors Héli comprit que c'était Dieu qui appelait le jeune homme,

Jehová pues llamó la tercera vez á Samuel. Y él levantándose vino á Eli, y dijo: Heme aquí; ¿para qué me has llamado? Entonces entendió Eli que Jehová llamaba al joven.

And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

The LORD called Samuel again the third time. He arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.” Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

et il dit à Samuel: "Va te recoucher, et si l'on t'appelle, tu diras: Parle, Seigneur, ton serviteur écoute." Samuel le quitta et regagna sa couche.

Y dijo Eli á Samuel: Ve, y acuéstate: y si te llamare, dirás: Habla, Jehová, que tu siervo oye. Así se fué Samuel, y acostóse en su lugar.

Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down. It shall be, if he calls you, that you shall say, ‘Speak, LORD; for your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

Le Seigneur vint, s'arrêta là et appela comme il avait fait chaque fois: "Samuel!.... Samuel!..." Et Samuel dit: "Parle, ton serviteur écoute."

Y vino Jehová, y paróse, y llamó como las otras veces: ¡Samuel, Samuel! Entonces Samuel dijo: Habla, que tu siervo oye.

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

Alors le Seigneur dit à Samuel: "Je vais accomplir une chose en Israël, à faire tinter les oreilles de quiconque l'entendra.

Y Jehová dijo á Samuel: He aquí haré yo una cosa en Israel, que á quien la oyere, le retiñirán ambos oídos.

And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

The LORD said to Samuel, “Behold, I will do a thing in Israel at which both the ears of everyone who hears it will tingle.

Ce jour-là, j'exécuterai à l'égard d'Héli toutes mes menaces concernant sa famille; j'en poursuivrai l'exécution jusqu'au bout.

Aquel día yo despertaré contra Eli todas las cosas que he dicho sobre su casa. En comenzando, acabaré también.

In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

In that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from the beginning even to the end.

Je lui ai annoncé que je condamne à jamais sa famille, parce qu'il a eu le tort, connaissant la conduite indigne de ses fils, de ne pas la réprimer.

Y mostraréle que yo juzgaré su casa para siempre, por la iniquidad que él sabe; porque sus hijos se han envilecido, y él no los ha estorbado.

For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knew, because his sons brought a curse on themselves, and he didn’t restrain them.

Je le déclare donc avec serment à la maison d'Héli: rien ne saurait désormais expier son crime, ni sacrifice, ni oblation!"

Y por tanto yo he jurado á la casa de Eli, que la iniquidad de la casa de Eli no será expiada jamás, ni con sacrificios ni con presentes.

And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be removed with sacrifice or offering forever.”

Samuel resta couché jusqu'au matin, et ouvrit alors les portes de la maison de Dieu; mais il n'osait rapporter cette vision à Héli.

Y Samuel estuvo acostado hasta la mañana, y abrió las puertas de la casa de Jehová. Y Samuel temía descubrir la visión á Eli.

And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.

Celui-ci appela Samuel en disant: "Samuel, mon fils!" Et il répondit: "Me voici!"

Llamando pues Eli á Samuel, díjole: Hijo mío, Samuel. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.

Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

Then Eli called Samuel and said, “Samuel, my son!” He said, “Here I am.”

Héli reprit: "Quelle parole t'a-t-il adressée? De grâce, ne me cache rien. Que Dieu t'en fasse autant et plus, si tu me caches quoi que ce soit de ce qu'il t'a dit!"

Y dijo: ¿Qué es la palabra que te habló Jehová?; ruégote que no me la encubras: así te haga Dios y así te añada, si me encubrieres palabra de todo lo que habló contigo.

And he said, What is the thing that the Lord hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.

He said, “What is the thing that he has spoken to you? Please don’t hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that he spoke to you.”

Alors Samuel lui redit toutes les paroles, sans lui rien dissimuler; et Héli répondit: "Il est l'Eternel; qu'il fasse selon sa volonté!"

Y Samuel se lo manifestó todo, sin encubrirle nada. Entonces él dijo: Jehová es; haga lo que bien le pareciere.

And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

Ainsi grandissait Samuel, et l'Eternel était avec lui, et il ne laissait tomber à terre aucune de ses prophéties.

Et tout Israël, depuis Dan jusqu'à Bersabée, reconnut l'autorité de Samuel, comme prophète du Seigneur.

Y conoció todo Israel desde Dan hasta Beer-sebah, que Samuel era fiel profeta de Jehová.

And all Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

Et l'Eternel se manifesta souvent encore à Silo, car c'est à Silo qu'il se manifestait à Samuel par la parole divine.

Así tornó Jehová á aparecer en Silo: porque Jehová se manifestó á Samuel en Silo con palabra de Jehová.

And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
