Et les Philistins prirent l'arche de Dieu, et ils la portèrent d'Abenézer à Azot.

Y LOS Filisteos, tomada el arca de Dios, trajéronla desde Eben-ezer á Asdod.

And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Eben-ezer unto Ashdod.

Now the Philistines had taken God’s ark, and they brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.

Et les Philistins prirent l'arche du Seigneur, et ils la portèrent dans le temple de Dagon, et ils la posèrent auprès de Dagon.

Y tomaron los Filisteos el arca de Dios, y metiéronla en la casa de Dagón, y pusiéronla junto á Dagón.

When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.

Et les hommes d'Azot s'étant levés de grand matin, entrèrent dans le temple de Dagon, et ils virent Dagon renversé, la face contre terre, devant l'arche de Dieu ; ils relevèrent Dagon et le remirent à sa place ; puis, la main du Seigneur s'appesantit sur les hommes d'Azot ; elle les tourmenta, elle les frappa à l'anus, tant ceux de la ville que ceux de son territoire.

Y el siguiente día los de Asdod se levantaron de mañana, y he aquí Dagón postrado en tierra delante del arca de Jehová: y tomaron á Dagón, y volviéronlo á su lugar.

And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

When the people of Ashdod arose early on the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the LORD’s ark. They took Dagon and set him in his place again.

Lorsqu'ils se levèrent de bonne heure, le jour suivant, ils virent Dagon renversé, la face contre terre, devant l'arche de l'alliance du Seigneur ; la tête de Dagon et ses mains avaient été enlevées jusqu'à la façade d'Amapheth, et ses deux poignets gisaient sur le portique. Le torse seul de Dagon était resté.

Y tornándose á levantar de mañana el siguiente día, he aquí que Dagón había caído postrado en tierra delante del arca de Jehová; y la cabeza de Dagón y las dos palmas de sus manos estaban cortadas sobre el umbral, habiéndole quedado á Dagón el tronco solamente.

And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

When they arose early on the following morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the LORD’s ark; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off on the threshold. Only Dagon’s torso was intact.

A cause de cela, encore de nos jours, ni les prêtres de Dagon, ni ceux qui entrent dans le temple, ne marchent sur le seuil du temple d'Azot ; ils le franchissent d'un saut.

Por esta causa los sacerdotes de Dagón, y todos los que en el templo de Dagón entran, no pisan el umbral de Dagón en Asdod, hasta hoy.

Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.

La main du Seigneur s'appesantit donc sur les hommes d'Azot ; le Seigneur fit fourmiller, tant dans leurs maisons qu'au milieu de leurs champs, une multitude de rats ; en même temps, la mort répandit un grand trouble dans toute la ville.

Empero agravóse la mano de Jehová sobre los de Asdod, y destruyólos, é hiriólos con hemorroides en Asdod y en todos sus términos.

But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

But the LORD’s hand was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and he destroyed them and struck them with tumors, even Ashdod and its borders.

Les hommes d'Azot, voyant ce qui se passait, dirent : C'est parce que l'arche du Dieu d'Israël réside parmi nous, que sa main est si dure pour nous- mêmes et pour Dagon, notre dieu.

Y viendo esto los de Asdod, dijeron: No quede con nosotros el arca del Dios de Israel, porque su mano es dura sobre nosotros, y sobre nuestro dios Dagón.

And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

When the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, “The ark of the God of Israel shall not stay with us, for his hand is severe on us and on Dagon our god.”

Alors, ils firent partir des messagers pour convoquer chez eux les chefs des Philistins ; ceux-ci venus, ils dirent : Que ferons-nous de l'arche du Dieu d'Israël ? Les Géthéens dirent : Que l'on envoie chez nous l'arche du Dieu. En conséquence, on envoya à Geth l'arche du Dieu d'Israël.

Enviaron pues á juntar á sí todos los príncipes de los Filisteos, y dijeron: ¿Qué haremos del arca del Dios de Israel? Y ellos respondieron: Pásese el arca del Dios de Israel á Gath. Y pasaron allá el arca del Dios de Israel.

They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.

Dès qu'elle y fut arrivée, la main du Seigneur répandit dans cette ville un très grand trouble ; elle frappa les hommes depuis le plus grand jusqu'au plus petit, elle les frappa à l'anus, et les Géthéens firent des sièges pour eux.

Y aconteció que como la hubieron pasado, la mano de Jehová fué contra la ciudad con grande quebrantamiento; é hirió los hombres de aquella ciudad desde el chico hasta el grande, que se llenaron de hemorroides.

And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

It was so, that after they had carried it there, the LORD’s hand was against the city with a very great confusion; and he struck the men of the city, both small and great, so that tumors broke out on them.

Puis, ils envoyèrent l'arche de Dieu à Ascalon ; lorsqu'elle y entra, les habitants crièrent et dirent : Pourquoi nous amenez-vous l'arche du Dieu d'Israël ? est-ce pour faire périr notre peuple ?

Entonces enviaron el arca de Dios á Ecrón. Y como el arca de Dios vino á Ecrón, los Ecronitas dieron voces diciendo: Han pasado á mí el arca del Dios de Israel por matarme á mí y á mi pueblo.

Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.

So they sent God’s ark to Ekron. As God’s ark came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out, saying, “They have brought the ark of the God of Israel here to us, to kill us and our people.”

Et ils firent partir des messagers pour convoquer les chefs des Philistins ; ceux-ci venus, ils dirent : Renvoyez l'arche du Dieu d'Israël ; qu'elle réside en son lieu ; qu'elle ne nous fasse point périr, nous et notre peuple.

Y enviaron á juntar todos los príncipes de los Filisteos, diciendo: Despachad el arca del Dios de Israel, y tórnese á su lugar, y no mate á mí ni á mi pueblo: porque había quebrantamiento de muerte en toda la ciudad, y la mano de Dios se había allí agravado.

So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

Car, dans toute ville où elle entre, elle apporte un grand trouble. Et ceux qui ne meurent pas sont frappés à l'anus. Or, le cri de toute la ville s'éleva jusqu'au ciel.

Y los que no morían, eran heridos de hemorroides; y el clamor de la ciudad subía al cielo.

And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.

The men who didn’t die were struck with the tumors; and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
