Então os filisteus, chamando os sacerdotes e adivinhos, perguntaram: Que faremos da arca do SENHOR? Declarai-nos como a devemos tornar a enviar a seu lugar.
Entonces los Filisteos, llamando los sacerdotes y adivinos, preguntaron: ¿Qué haremos del arca de Jehová? Declaradnos cómo la hemos de tornar á enviar á su lugar.
And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.

E eles disseram: Se enviais a arca do Deus de Israel, não a envieis vazia; mas lhe pagareis a expiação: e então sereis sãos, e conhecereis por que não se afastou de vós sua mão.
Y ellos dijeron: Si enviáis el arca del Dios de Israel, no la enviéis vacía; mas le pagaréis la expiación: y entonces seréis sanos, y conoceréis por qué no se apartó de vosotros su mano.
And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.
They said, “If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don’t send it empty; but by all means return a trespass offering to him. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.”
E eles disseram: E que será a expiação que lhe pagaremos? E eles responderam: Conforme o número dos príncipes dos filisteus, cinco chagas de ouro, e cinco ratos de ouro, porque a mesma praga que todos têm, têm também vossos príncipes.
Y ellos dijeron: ¿Y qué será la expiación que le pagaremos? Y ellos respondieron: Conforme al número de los príncipes de los Filisteos, cinco hemorroides de oro, y cinco ratones de oro, porque la misma plaga que todos tienen, tienen también vuestros príncipes.
Then said they, What shall be the trespass offering which we shall return to him? They answered, Five golden emerods, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines: for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
Then they said, “What should the trespass offering be which we shall return to him?” They said, “Five golden tumors and five golden mice, for the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
Fareis, pois, as formas de vossas chagas, e as formas de vossos ratos que destroem a terra, e dareis glória ao Deus de Israel: talvez aliviará sua mão de sobre vós, e de sobre vossos deuses, e de sobre vossa terra.
Haréis pues las formas de vuestras hemorroides, y las formas de vuestros ratones que destruyen la tierra, y daréis gloria al Dios de Israel: quizá aliviará su mano de sobre vosotros, y de sobre vuestros dioses, y de sobre vuestra tierra.
Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

Mas por que endureceis vosso coração, como os egípcios e Faraó endureceram seu coração? Depois que os houve assim tratado, não os deixaram que se fossem, e se foram?

Fazei, pois, agora um carro novo, e tomai logo duas vacas que criem, às quais não haja sido posto jugo, e preparai as vacas ao carro, e fazei voltar de detrás delas seus bezerros a casa.
Haced pues ahora un carro nuevo, y tomad luego dos vacas que críen, á las cuales no haya sido puesto yugo, y uncid las vacas al carro, y haced tornar de detrás de ellas sus becerros á casa.
Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their calves home from them:
“Now therefore take and prepare yourselves a new cart and two milk cows on which there has come no yoke; and tie the cows to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;
Tomareis logo a arca do SENHOR, e a poreis sobre o carro; e ponde em uma caixa ao lado dela as joias de ouro que lhe pagais em expiação: e a deixareis que se vá.
Tomaréis luego el arca de Jehová, y la pondréis sobre el carro; y poned en una caja al lado de ella las alhajas de oro que le pagáis en expiación: y la dejaréis que se vaya.
And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.

E olhai: se sobe pelo caminho de seu termo a Bete-Semes, ele nos fez este mal tão grande; e se não, teremos certeza de que não foi sua mão que nos feriu, mas nos foi coincidência.
Y mirad: si sube por el camino de su término á Beth-semes, él nos ha hecho este mal tan grande; y si no, seremos ciertos que su mano no nos hirió, nos ha sido accidente.
And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Beth-shemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us; it was a chance that happened to us.
Behold, if it goes up by the way of its own border to Beth Shemesh, then he has done us this great evil; but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that struck us. It was a chance that happened to us.”
E aqueles homens o fizeram assim; pois tomando duas vacas que criavam, prepararam-nas ao carro, e encerraram em casa seus bezerros.
Y aquellos hombres lo hicieron así; pues tomando dos vacas que criaban, unciéronlas al carro, y encerraron en casa sus becerros.

Logo puseram a arca do SENHOR sobre o carro, e a caixa com os ratos de ouro e com as formas de suas chagas.

E as vacas se encaminharam pelo caminho de Bete-Semes, e iam por um mesmo caminho andando e bramando, sem desviar-se nem à direita nem à esquerda: e os príncipes dos filisteus foram atrás elas até o termo de Bete-Semes.
Y las vacas se encaminaron por el camino de Beth-semes, é iban por un mismo camino andando y bramando, sin apartarse ni á diestra ni á siniestra: y los príncipes de los Filisteos fueron tras ellas hasta el término de Beth-semes.
And the kine took the straight way to the way of Beth-shemesh, and went along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them unto the border of Beth-shemesh.

E os de Bete-Semes ceifavam o trigo no vale; e levantando seus olhos viram a arca, e alegraram-se quando a viram.

E o carro veio ao campo de Josué Bete-Semita, e parou ali porque ali havia uma grande pedra; e eles cortaram a madeira do carro, e ofereceram as vacas em holocausto ao SENHOR.

E os levitas baixaram a arca do SENHOR, e a caixa que estava junto a ela, na qual estavam as joias de ouro, e puseram-nas sobre aquela grande pedra; e os homens de Bete-Semes sacrificaram holocaustos e mataram vítimas ao SENHOR naquele dia.
Y los Levitas bajaron el arca de Jehová, y la caja que estaba junto á ella, en la cual estaban las alhajas de oro, y pusiéronlas sobre aquella gran piedra: y los hombres de Beth-semes sacrificaron holocaustos y mataron víctimas á Jehová en aquel día.

E ratos de ouro conforme ao número de todas as cidades dos filisteus pertencentes aos cinco príncipes, desde as cidades fortes até as aldeias sem muro; e até a grande pedra sobre a qual puseram a arca do SENHOR, pedra que está no campo de Josué, bete-semita, até hoje.

And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Beth-shemite.

Então feriu Deus aos de Bete-Semes, porque haviam olhado no arca do SENHOR; feriu no povo cinquenta mil e setenta homens. E o povo pôs luto, porque o SENHOR lhe havia ferido de tão grande praga.
Entonces hirió Dios á los de Beth-semes, porque habían mirado en el arca de Jehová; hirió en el pueblo cincuenta mil y setenta hombres. Y el pueblo puso luto, porque Jehová le había herido de tan gran plaga.
And he smote the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the LORD’s ark, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because the LORD had struck the people with a great slaughter.
E disseram os de Bete-Semes: Quem poderá estar diante do SENHOR o Deus santo? e a quem subirá desde nós?
Y dijeron los de Beth-semes: ¿Quién podrá estar delante de Jehová el Dios santo? ¿y á quién subirá desde nosotros?
And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?

E enviaram mensageiros aos de Quriate-Jearim, dizendo: Os filisteus devolveram a arca do SENHOR: descei, pois, e levai-a a vós.
Y enviaron mensajeros á los de Chîriath-jearim, diciendo: Los Filisteos han vuelto el arca de Jehová: descended pues, y llevadla á vosotros.
And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath-jearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.
