L’Arche donc de l’Eternel ayant été pendant sept mois au pays des Philistins,

Y ESTUVO el arca de Jehová en la tierra de los Filisteos siete meses.

Les Philistins appelèrent les Sacrificateurs et les devins, et leur dirent : Que ferons-nous de l’Arche de l’Eternel ? Déclarez-nous comment nous la renverrons en son lieu.

Entonces los Filisteos, llamando los sacerdotes y adivinos, preguntaron: ¿Qué haremos del arca de Jehová? Declaradnos cómo la hemos de tornar á enviar á su lugar.

And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.

Et ils répondirent : Si vous renvoyez l’Arche du Dieu d’Israël, ne la renvoyez point à vide, et ne manquez pas à lui payer l’oblation pour le péché ; alors vous serez guéris, ou vous saurez pourquoi sa main ne se sera point retirée de dessus vous.

Y ellos dijeron: Si enviáis el arca del Dios de Israel, no la enviéis vacía; mas le pagaréis la expiación: y entonces seréis sanos, y conoceréis por qué no se apartó de vosotros su mano.

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They said, “If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don’t send it empty; but by all means return a trespass offering to him. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.”

Et ils dirent : Quelle est l’oblation que nous lui payerons pour le péché ? Et ils répondirent : Selon le nombre des Gouvernements des Philistins vous donnerez cinq fondements d’or, et cinq souris d’or ; car une même plaie a été sur vous tous, et sur vos Gouvernements.

Y ellos dijeron: ¿Y qué será la expiación que le pagaremos? Y ellos respondieron: Conforme al número de los príncipes de los Filisteos, cinco hemorroides de oro, y cinco ratones de oro, porque la misma plaga que todos tienen, tienen también vuestros príncipes.

Then said they, What shall be the trespass offering which we shall return to him? They answered, Five golden emerods, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines: for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.

Then they said, “What should the trespass offering be which we shall return to him?” They said, “Five golden tumors and five golden mice, for the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.

Vous ferez donc des figures de vos fondements, et des figures des souris qui gâtent le pays, et vous donnerez gloire au Dieu d’Israël. Peut-être retirera-t-il sa main de dessus vous, et de dessus vos dieux, et de dessus votre pays.

Haréis pues las formas de vuestras hemorroides, y las formas de vuestros ratones que destruyen la tierra, y daréis gloria al Dios de Israel: quizá aliviará su mano de sobre vosotros, y de sobre vuestros dioses, y de sobre vuestra tierra.

Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

Therefore you shall make images of your tumors and images of your mice that mar the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel. Perhaps he will release his hand from you, from your gods, and from your land.

Et pourquoi endurciriez-vous votre cœur, comme l’Egypte et Pharaon ont endurci leur cœur ? Après qu’il eut fait de merveilleux exploits parmi eux ne les laissèrent-ils pas aller, et ils s’en allèrent ?

Mas ¿por qué endurecéis vuestro corazón, como los Egipcios y Faraón endurecieron su corazón? Después que los hubo así tratado, ¿no los dejaron que se fuesen, y se fueron?

Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?

Maintenant donc prenez de quoi faire un chariot tout neuf, et prenez deux jeunes vaches qui allaitent leurs veaux, sur lesquelles on n’ait point encore mis de joug, et attelez au chariot les deux jeunes vaches, et faites ramener leurs petits en la maison.

Haced pues ahora un carro nuevo, y tomad luego dos vacas que críen, á las cuales no haya sido puesto yugo, y uncid las vacas al carro, y haced tornar de detrás de ellas sus becerros á casa.

Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their calves home from them:

“Now therefore take and prepare yourselves a new cart and two milk cows on which there has come no yoke; and tie the cows to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;

Puis prenez l’Arche de l’Eternel et mettez-la sur le chariot, et mettez les ouvrages d’or que vous lui aurez payés pour l’oblation du péché, dans un petit coffre à côté de l’Arche, puis renvoyez-la, et elle s’en ira.

Tomaréis luego el arca de Jehová, y la pondréis sobre el carro; y poned en una caja al lado de ella las alhajas de oro que le pagáis en expiación: y la dejaréis que se vaya.

And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.

Et vous prendrez garde à elle ; si l’Arche monte vers Beth-sémes, par le chemin de sa contrée, c’est l’Eternel qui nous a fait tout ce grand mal ; si elle n’y va pas, nous saurons alors que sa main ne nous a point touchés, mais que ceci nous est arrivé par hasard.

Y mirad: si sube por el camino de su término á Beth-semes, él nos ha hecho este mal tan grande; y si no, seremos ciertos que su mano no nos hirió, nos ha sido accidente.

And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Beth-shemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us; it was a chance that happened to us.

Behold, if it goes up by the way of its own border to Beth Shemesh, then he has done us this great evil; but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that struck us. It was a chance that happened to us.”

Et ces gens-là firent ainsi ; ils prirent donc deux jeunes vaches qui allaitaient, ils les attelèrent au chariot, et ils enfermèrent leurs petits dans l’étable.

Y aquellos hombres lo hicieron así; pues tomando dos vacas que criaban, unciéronlas al carro, y encerraron en casa sus becerros.

And the men did so; and took two milch kine, and tied them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home:

Et mirent sur le chariot l’Arche de l’Eternel, et le petit coffre avec les souris d’or, et les figures de leurs fondements.

Luego pusieron el arca de Jehová sobre el carro, y la caja con los ratones de oro y con las formas de sus hemorroides.

And they laid the ark of the LORD upon the cart, and the coffer with the mice of gold and the images of their emerods.

They put the LORD’s ark on the cart, and the box with the golden mice and the images of their tumors.

Alors les jeunes vaches prirent tout droit le chemin de Beth- sémes, tenant toujours le même chemin en marchant et en mugissant ; et elles ne se détournèrent ni à droite ni à gauche,; et les Gouverneurs des Philistins allèrent après elles jusqu’à la frontière de Beth-sémes.

Y las vacas se encaminaron por el camino de Beth-semes, é iban por un mismo camino andando y bramando, sin apartarse ni á diestra ni á siniestra: y los príncipes de los Filisteos fueron tras ellas hasta el término de Beth-semes.

And the kine took the straight way to the way of Beth-shemesh, and went along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them unto the border of Beth-shemesh.

Or ceux de Beth-sémes moissonnaient les blés en la vallée ; et ayant élevé leurs yeux, ils virent l’Arche, et furent fort réjouis quand ils la virent.

Y los de Beth-semes segaban el trigo en el valle; y alzando sus ojos vieron el arca, y holgáronse cuando la vieron.

And they of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.

And the cart came into the field of Joshua, a Beth-shemite, and stood there, where there was a great stone: and they clave the wood of the cart, and offered the kine a burnt offering unto the LORD.

Car les Lévites descendirent l’Arche de l’Eternel, et le petit coffre qui était auprès, dans lequel étaient les ouvrages d’or, et les mirent sur cette grande pierre. En ce même jour ceux de Beth- sémes offrirent des holocaustes et sacrifièrent des sacrifices à l’Eternel.

Y los Levitas bajaron el arca de Jehová, y la caja que estaba junto á ella, en la cual estaban las alhajas de oro, y pusiéronlas sobre aquella gran piedra: y los hombres de Beth-semes sacrificaron holocaustos y mataron víctimas á Jehová en aquel día.

And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.

Et c’est ici le nombre des fondements d’or que les Philistins donnèrent à l’Eternel en offrande pour le péché ; un pour Asdod ; un pour Gaza ; un pour Askelon ; un pour Gath ; un pour Hékron ;

Estas pues son las hemorroides de oro que pagaron los Filisteos á Jehová en expiación: por Asdod una, por Gaza una, por Ascalón una, por Gath una, por Ecrón una;

And these are the golden emerods which the Philistines returned for a trespass offering unto the LORD; for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;

Et les souris d or, selon le nombre de toutes les villes des Philistins, savoir des cinq Gouvernements, de la part tant des villes fermées, que des villes non murées ; et ils les amenèrent jusqu’à la grande pierre sur laquelle on posa l’Arche de l’Eternel ; et qui jusqu’à ce jour est dans le champ de Josué Beth-sémite.

Y ratones de oro conforme al número de todas las ciudades de los Filisteos pertenecientes á los cinco príncipes, desde las ciudades fuertes hasta las aldeas sin muro; y hasta la gran piedra sobre la cual pusieron el arca de Jehová, piedra que está en el campo de Josué Beth-semita hasta hoy.

And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Beth-shemite.

Or l’Eternel frappa des gens de Beth-sémes, parce qu’ils avaient regardé dans l’Arche de l’Eternel, il frappa, dis-je, du peuple cinquante mille et soixante et dix hommes ; et le peuple mena deuil, parce que l’Eternel l’avait frappé d’une grande plaie.

And he smote the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the LORD’s ark, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because the LORD had struck the people with a great slaughter.

Alors ceux de Beth-sémes dirent : Qui pourrait subsister en la présence de l’Eternel, ce Dieu Saint ? Et vers qui montera-t-il en s’éloignant de nous ?

Y dijeron los de Beth-semes: ¿Quién podrá estar delante de Jehová el Dios santo? ¿y á quién subirá desde nosotros?

And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?

The men of Beth Shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? To whom shall he go up from us?”

Et ils envoyèrent des messagers aux habitants de Kirjath-jéharim, en disant : Les Philistins ont ramené l’Arche de l’Eternel ; descendez, et faites-la monter vers vous.

Y enviaron mensajeros á los de Chîriath-jearim, diciendo: Los Filisteos han vuelto el arca de Jehová: descended pues, y llevadla á vosotros.

And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath-jearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.
