E que' di Chiriat-iearim vennero, e ne menarono l'Arca del Signore, e la condussero nella casa di Abinadab, sul colle; e consacrarono Eleazaro, figliuolo di esso, per guardar l'Arca del Signore.

Y VINIERON los de Chîriath-jearim, y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y metiéronla en casa de Abinadab, situada en el collado; y santificaron á Eleazar su hijo, para que guardase el arca de Jehová.

And the men of Kirjath-jearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.

OR lungo tempo appresso che l'Arca fu posata in Chiriat-iearim, che furono vent'anni, tutta la casa d'Israele si lamentò, gridando dietro al Signore.

Y aconteció que desde el día que llegó el arca á Chîriath-jearim pasaron muchos días, veinte años; y toda la casa de Israel lamentaba en pos de Jehová.

E Samuele parlò a tutta la casa d'Israele, dicendo: Se pur voi vi convertite con tutto il vostro cuore al Signore, togliete del mezzo di voi gl'iddii degli stranieri, ed Astarot; ed addirizzate il cuor vostro al Signore, e servite a lui solo, ed egli vi riscoterà dalla mano de' Filistei.

Y habló Samuel á toda la casa de Israel, diciendo: Si de todo vuestro corazón os volvéis á Jehová, quitad los dioses ajenos y á Astaroth de entre vosotros, y preparad vuestro corazón á Jehová, y á sólo él servid, y os librará de mano de los Filisteos.

And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to the LORD, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

I figliuoli d'Israele adunque tolsero via i Baali e Astarot; e servirono al solo Signore.

Entonces los hijos de Israel quitaron á los Baales y á Astaroth, y sirvieron á solo Jehová.

Essi adunque si adunarono in Mispa, ed attinsero dell'acqua, e la sparsero davanti al Signore, e digiunarono quel giorno; e quivi dissero; Noi abbiamo peccato contro al Signore. E Samuele giudicò i figliuoli d'Israele in Mispa.

Y juntándose en Mizpa, sacaron agua, y derramáronla delante de Jehová, y ayunaron aquel día, y dijeron allí: Contra Jehová hemos pecado. Y juzgó Samuel á los hijos de Israel en Mizpa.

Ora, quando i Filistei ebbero inteso che i figliuoli d'Israele s'erano adunati in Mispa, i principati de' Filistei salirono contro ad Israele. Il che come i figliuoli d'Israele ebbero udito, temettero dei Filistei;

Y oyendo los Filisteos que los hijos de Israel estaban reunidos en Mizpa, subieron los príncipes de los Filisteos contra Israel: lo cual como hubieron oído los hijos de Israel, tuvieron temor de los Filisteos.

And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.

e dissero a Samuele: Non restar di gridar per noi al Signore Iddio nostro, acciocchè egli ci salvi dalla mano de' Filistei.

Y dijeron los hijos de Israel á Samuel: No ceses de clamar por nosotros á Jehová nuestro Dios, que nos guarde de mano de los filisteos.

And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

E Samuele prese un agnel di latte, e l'offerse tutto intiero in olocausto al Signore. E Samuele gridò al Signore per Israele; e il Signore l'esaudì.

And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.

Y aconteció que estando Samuel sacrificando el holocausto, los Filisteos llegaron para pelear con los hijos de Israel. Mas Jehová tronó aquel día con grande estruendo sobre los Filisteos, y desbaratólos, y fueron vencidos delante de Israel.

And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.

E gli Israeliti uscirono di Mispa, e perseguitarono i Filistei, e li percossero fin disotto a Bet-car.

Allora Samuele prese una pietra, e la pose fra Mispa e la punta della rupe; e pose nome a quella pietra Eben-ezer; e disse: Il Signore ci ha soccorsi fino a questo luogo.

Tomó luego Samuel una piedra, y púsola entre Mizpa y Sen, y púsole por nombre Eben-ezer, diciendo: Hasta aquí nos ayudó Jehová.

E i Filistei furono abbassati, e non continuarono più d'entrar ne' confini d'Israele. E la mano del Signore fu contro a' Filistei tutto il tempo di Samuele.

Fueron pues los Filisteos humillados, que no vinieron más al término de Israel; y la mano de Jehová fué contra los Filisteos todo el tiempo de Samuel.

E le città, che i Filistei aveano prese ad Israele, ritornarono ad Israele; Israele riscosse dalle mani dei Filistei quelle città da Ecron fino a Gat, insieme co' lor confini. E vi fu pace tra gl'Israeliti e gli Amorrei.

Y fueron restituídas á los hijos de Israel las ciudades que los Filisteos habían tomado á los Israelitas, desde Ecrón hasta Gath, con sus términos: é Israel las libró de mano de los Filisteos. Y hubo paz entre Israel y el Amorrheo.

And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
