Paulus und Silvanus und Timotheus der Gemeinde zu Thessalonich in Gott, dem Vater, und dem HERRN Jesus Christus: Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott, unserm Vater, und dem HERRN Jesus Christus!

PABLO, y Silvano, y Timoteo, á la iglesia de los Tesalonicenses que es en Dios Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo: Gracia y paz á vosotros de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Wir danken Gott allezeit für euch alle und gedenken euer im Gebet ohne Unterlaß

Damos siempre gracias á Dios por todos vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en nuestras oraciones;

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

We always give thanks to God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers,

und denken an euer Werk im Glauben und an eure Arbeit in der Liebe und an eure Geduld in der Hoffnung, welche ist unser HERR Jesus Christus, vor Gott und unserm Vater.

Sin cesar acordándonos delante del Dios y Padre nuestro de la obra de vuestra fe, y del trabajo de amor, y de la tolerancia de la esperanza del Señor nuestro Jesucristo:

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.

Denn, liebe Brüder, von Gott geliebt, wir wissen, wie ihr auserwählt seid,

Sabiendo, hermanos amados de Dios, vuestra elección:

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

We know, brothers loved by God, that you are chosen,

daß unser Evangelium ist bei euch gewesen nicht allein im Wort, sondern auch in der Kraft und in dem heiligen Geist und in großer Gewißheit; wie ihr denn wisset, welcherlei wir gewesen sind unter euch um euretwillen;

Por cuanto nuestro evangelio no fué á vosotros en palabra solamente, mas también en potencia, y en Espíritu Santo, y en gran plenitud; como sabéis cuáles fuimos entre vosotros por amor de vosotros.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.

und ihr seid unsre Nachfolger geworden und des HERRN und habt das Wort aufgenommen unter vielen Trübsalen mit Freuden im heiligen Geist,

Y vosotros fuisteis hechos imitadores de nosotros, y del Señor, recibiendo la palabra con mucha tribulación, con gozo del Espíritu Santo:

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

You became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

also daß ihr geworden seid ein Vorbild allen Gläubigen in Mazedonien und Achaja.

En tal manera que habéis sido ejemplo á todos los que han creído en Macedonia y en Acaya.

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

so that you became an example to all who believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.

Denn von euch ist auserschollen das Wort des HERRN; nicht allein in Mazedonien und Achaja, sondern an allen Orten ist auch euer Glaube an Gott bekannt geworden, also daß uns nicht not ist, etwas zu sagen.

Porque de vosotros ha sido divulgada la palabra del Señor no sólo en Macedonia y en Acaya, mas aun en todo lugar vuestra fe en Dios se ha extendido; de modo que no tenemos necesidad de hablar nada.

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

For from you the word of the Lord has been declared, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we need not say anything.

Denn sie selbst verkündigen von euch, was für einen Eingang wir zu euch gehabt haben und wie ihr bekehrt seid zu Gott von den Abgöttern, zu dienen dem lebendigen und wahren Gott

Porque ellos cuentan de nosotros cuál entrada tuvimos á vosotros; y cómo os convertisteis de los ídolos á Dios, para servir al Dios vivo y verdadero,

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

For they themselves report concerning us what kind of a reception we had from you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

und zu warten auf seinen Sohn vom Himmel, welchen er auferweckt hat von den Toten, Jesum, der uns von dem zukünftigen Zorn erlöst.

Y esperar á su Hijo de los cielos, al cual resucitó de los muertos; á Jesús, el cual nos libró de la ira que ha de venir.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
