1 Tesalonicenses 3

Darum konnten wir es nicht länger ertragen und wollten lieber allein in Athen bleiben;

POR lo cual, no pudiendo esperar más, acordamos quedarnos solos en Atenas,

Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;

Therefore when we couldn’t stand it any longer, we thought it good to be left behind at Athens alone,

Und haben Timotheus, unseren Bruder und Mitarbeiter Gottes im Evangelium Christi, gesandt, daß er euch stärke und ermahne in Ansehung eures Glaubens.

Y enviamos á Timoteo, nuestro hermano, y ministro de Dios, y colaborador nuestro en el evangelio de Cristo, á confirmaros y exhortaros en vuestra fe,

And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

and sent Timothy, our brother and God’s servant in the Good News of Christ, to establish you and to comfort you concerning your faith,

Damit niemand wanke in diesen Bedrängnissen; ihr wißt ja selbst, daß wir dazu bestimmt sind.

Para que nadie se conmueva por estas tribulaciones; porque vosotros sabéis que nosotros somos puestos para esto.

That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

that no one would be moved by these afflictions. For you know that we are appointed to this task.

Und als wir bei euch waren, sagten wir es euch ja voraus, daß wir würden in Trübsal kommen, wie es denn geschah und euch bekannt ist.

Que aun estando con vosotros, os predecíamos que habíamos de pasar tribulaciones, como ha acontecido y sabéis.

For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

For most certainly, when we were with you, we told you beforehand that we are to suffer affliction, even as it happened, and you know.

Darum konnte ich es nicht länger ertragen, und schickte ihn ab, auf daß ich erführe, wie es mit eurem Glauben steht, ob nicht etwa der Versucher euch versucht habe und unsere Arbeit vereitelt wäre.

Por lo cual, también yo, no esperando más, he enviado á reconocer vuestra fe, no sea que os haya tentado el tentador, y que nuestro trabajo haya sido en vano.

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

For this cause I also, when I couldn’t stand it any longer, sent that I might know your faith, for fear that by any means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor would have been in vain.

Nun aber, da Timotheus von euch zu uns gekommen und uns über euren Glauben und eure Liebe frohe Botschaft brachte, und daß ihr uns immer noch in gutem Andenken habt, und Verlangen tragt, uns zu sehen, wie denn auch uns verlangt, euch zu sehen;

Empero volviendo de vosotros á nosotros Timoteo, y haciéndonos saber vuestra fe y caridad, y que siempre tenéis buena memoria de nosotros, deseando vernos, como también nosotros á vosotros,

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:

But Timothy has just now come to us from you, and brought us glad news of your faith and love, and that you have good memories of us always, longing to see us, even as we also long to see you.

Da sind wir denn über euch, Brüder, bei aller unserer Trübsal und Not durch euren Glauben getröstet worden.

En ello, hermanos, recibimos consolación de vosotros en toda nuestra necesidad y aflicción por causa de vuestra fe:

Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:

For this cause, brothers, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith.

Denn nun leben wir auf, weil ihr im Herrn beständig seid.

Porque ahora vivimos, si vosotros estáis firmes en el Señor.

For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

Denn wie können wir Gott genug danken für all die Freude, die wir euretwegen vor unserem Gott empfinden!

Por lo cual, ¿qué hacimiento de gracias podremos dar á Dios por vosotros, por todo el gozo con que nos gozamos á causa de vosotros delante de nuestro Dios,

For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

For what thanksgiving can we give again to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sakes before our God,

Tag und Nacht bitten wir angelegentlichst, daß wir euer Angesicht sehen dürften, um das, was noch mangelt an eurem Glauben, voll zu machen.

Orando de noche y de día con grande instancia, que veamos vuestro rostro, y que cumplamos lo que falta á vuestra fe?

Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

Er Selbst aber, unser Gott und Vater und unser Herr Jesus Christus bahne unseren Weg zu euch.

Mas el mismo Dios y Padre nuestro, y el Señor nuestro Jesucristo, encamine nuestro viaje á vosotros.

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.

Euch aber lasse der Herr zunehmen und überschwenglich werden in der Liebe zueinander und gegen jedermann wie denn auch wir gegen euch gesinnt sind.

Y á vosotros multiplique el Señor, y haga abundar el amor entre vosotros, y para con todos, como es también de nosotros para con vosotros;

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, even as we also do toward you,

Daß Er eure Herzen stärke und ihr unsträflich seid in der Heiligkeit vor Gott und unserem Vater, auf die Zukunft unseres Herrn Jesus Christus mit allen Seinen Heiligen.

Para que sean confirmados vuestros corazones en santidad, irreprensibles delante de Dios y nuestro Padre, para la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo con todos sus santos.

To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
