Por lo demás, hermanos, les rogamos y exhortamos en el Señor Jesús, que de la manera que aprendieron de nosotros cómo les conviene conducirse y agradar a Dios, así abunden más y más.
RESTA pues, hermanos, que os roguemos y exhortemos en el Señor Jesús, que de la manera que fuisteis enseñados de nosotros de cómo os conviene andar, y agradar á Dios, así vayáis creciendo.
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.
Porque ya saben qué instrucciones les dimos por el Señor Jesús;
Porque ya sabéis qué mandamientos os dimos por el Señor Jesús.
For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

puesto que la voluntad de Dios es su de ustedes santificación; que se aparten de fornicación inmoralidad sexual;
Porque la voluntad de Dios es vuestra santificación: que os apartéis de fornicación;
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality,
que cada uno de ustedes sepa tener su propio TM vasoesposa en santidad y honor;
Que cada uno de vosotros sepa tener su vaso en santificación y honor;
That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor,
no en pasión de concupiscencia deseo pasional desordenado, como los gentiles que no conocen a Dios;
No con afecto de concupiscencia, como los Gentiles que no conocen á Dios:
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God,
«que ninguno» agravie ofenda, sobrepase ni engañe en nada a su hermano; porque el Señor es vengador de todo esto, como ya les hemos dicho y testificado.
Que ninguno oprima, ni engañe en nada á su hermano: porque el Señor es vengador de todo esto, como ya os hemos dicho y protestado.
That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
Puesto que no nos ha llamado Dios a inmundicia, sino a santificación.

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Pero acerca del amor fraternal no tienen necesidad de que les escriba, porque ustedes mismos han aprendido de Dios que se amen unos a otros;
Mas acerca de la caridad fraterna no habéis menester que os escriba: porque vosotros mismos habéis aprendido de Dios que os améis los unos á los otros;
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,
y también lo hacen así con todos los hermanos que están por toda Macedonia. Pero les rogamos, hermanos, que abunden en ello más y más;

And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

y que procuren tener tranquilidad, y ocuparse en sus de ustedes negocios, y trabajar con sus de ustedes manos de la manera que les hemos mandado,
Y que procuréis tener quietud, y hacer vuestros negocios, y obréis de vuestras manos de la manera que os hemos mandado;
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you,
a fin de que se conduzcan honradamente para con los de afuera, y no tengan necesidad de nada.
A fin de que andéis honestamente para con los extraños, y no necesitéis de nada.
That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.
Tampoco queremos, hermanos, que ignoren acerca de los que duermen, para que no se entristezcan como los otros que no tienen esperanza.
Tampoco, hermanos, queremos que ignoréis acerca de los que duermen, que no os entristezcáis como los otros que no tienen esperanza.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope.
Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, así también traerá Dios con Jesús a los que durmieron en él.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Por lo cual les decimos esto en palabra del Señor: que nosotros que vivimos, que habremos quedado hasta la venida del Señor, no precederemos a los que durmieron.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Porque el Señor mismo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel, y con trompeta de Dios, descenderá del cielo; y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero.

Luego nosotros los que vivimos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos en las nubes para recibir al Señor en el aire, y así estaremos siempre con el Señor.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
