Quand les hommes diront: Paix et sûreté! Alors une ruine soudaine les surprendra, comme les douleurs de l’enfantement surprennent la femme enceinte, et ils n’échapperont point.

Que cuando dirán, Paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre ellos destrucción de repente, como los dolores á la mujer preñada; y no escaparán.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.
