EMPERO acerca de los tiempos y de los momentos, no tenéis, hermanos, necesidad de que yo os escriba:
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

Car vous savez très bien vous-mêmes que le jour du Seigneur vient ainsi qu'un voleur pendant la nuit.
Porque vosotros sabéis bien, que el día del Señor vendrá así como ladrón de noche,
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.
Quand les hommes diront : " Paix et sûreté ! " c'est alors qu'une ruine soudaine fondra sur eux comme la douleur sur la femme qui doit enfanter, et ils n'y échapperont point.
Que cuando dirán, Paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre ellos destrucción de repente, como los dolores á la mujer preñada; y no escaparán.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.
Mais vous, frères, vous n'êtes pas dans les ténèbres, pour que ce jour vous surprenne comme un voleur.
Mas vosotros, hermanos, no estáis en tinieblas, para que aquel día os sobrecoja como ladrón;
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.
Oui, vous êtes tous enfants de lumière et enfants du jour ; nous ne sommes pas de la nuit, ni des ténèbres.
Porque todos vosotros sois hijos de luz, é hijos del día; no somos de la noche, ni de las tinieblas.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Ne dormons donc point comme le reste des hommes ; mais veillons et soyons sobres.
Por tanto, no durmamos como los demás; antes velemos y seamos sobrios.

Car ceux qui dorment, dorment la nuit, et ceux qui s'enivrent, s'enivrent la nuit.
Porque los que duermen, de noche duermen; y los que están borrachos, de noche están borrachos.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Pour nous qui sommes du jour, soyons sobres, prenant pour cuirasse la foi et la charité, et pour casque l'espérance du salut.
Mas nosotros, que somos del día, estemos sobrios, vestidos de cota de fe y de caridad, y la esperanza de salud por yelmo.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Dieu en effet ne nous a pas destinés à la colère, mais à l'acquisition du salut par notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ,

El cual murió por nosotros, para que ó que velemos, ó que durmamos, vivamos juntamente con él.

C'est pourquoi consolez-vous mutuellement et édifiez-vous les uns les autres, comme déjà vous le faites.

Nous vous prions aussi, frères, d'avoir de la considération pour ceux qui travaillent parmi vous, qui vous gouvernent dans le Seigneur et qui vous donnent des avis.
Y os rogamos, hermanos, que reconozcáis á los que trabajan entre vosotros, y os presiden en el Señor, y os amonestan:
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
Ayez pour eux une charité plus abondante, à cause de leur œuvre. Vivez en paix entre vous.
Y que los tengáis en mucha estima por amor de su obra. Tened paz los unos con los otros.
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
Nous vous en prions, frères, reprenez ceux qui troublent l'ordre, consolez les pusillanimes, soutenez les faibles, usez de patience envers tous.
También os rogamos, hermanos, que amonestéis á los que andan desordenadamente, que consoléis á los de poco ánimo, que soportéis á los flacos, que seáis sufridos para con todos.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.
Prenez garde à ce que nul ne rende à un autre le mal pour le mal ; mais toujours cherchez ce qui est bien, les uns pour les autres et pour tous.
Mirad que ninguno dé á otro mal por mal; antes seguid lo bueno siempre los unos para con los otros, y para con todos.
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.

abstenez-vous de toute apparence de mal.
Apartaos de toda especie de mal.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Que le Dieu de paix lui-même vous sanctifie tout entiers, et que tout ce qui est en vous, l'esprit, l'âme et le corps, se conserve sans reproche jusqu'au jour de l'avènement de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ !
Y el Dios de paz os santifique en todo; para que vuestro espíritu y alma y cuerpo sea guardado entero sin reprensión para la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
