Was aber die Zeit und die Stunde betrifft, so bedürft ihr, liebe Brüder, darüber keiner schriftlichen Belehrung;
EMPERO acerca de los tiempos y de los momentos, no tenéis, hermanos, necesidad de que yo os escriba:
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

ihr wißt ja selber genau, daß der Tag des Herrn so kommt wie ein Dieb in der Nacht.
Porque vosotros sabéis bien, que el día del Señor vendrá así como ladrón de noche,
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.
Wenn sie sagen: »Jetzt herrscht Friede und Sicherheit«, (gerade) dann überfällt sie das Verderben plötzlich wie die Wehen eine schwangere Frau, und sie werden sicherlich nicht entrinnen.
Que cuando dirán, Paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre ellos destrucción de repente, como los dolores á la mujer preñada; y no escaparán.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.
Ihr aber, liebe Brüder, lebt nicht in Finsternis, daß der Tag (des Herrn) euch wie ein Dieb überraschen könnte;
Mas vosotros, hermanos, no estáis en tinieblas, para que aquel día os sobrecoja como ladrón;
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.
denn ihr alle seid Söhne des Lichts und Söhne des Tages: wir haben mit der Nacht und der Finsternis nichts zu schaffen.
Porque todos vosotros sois hijos de luz, é hijos del día; no somos de la noche, ni de las tinieblas.

Sodann ermahnen wir euch, liebe Brüder: Weiset die Unordentlichen zurecht, ermutigt die Verzagten, nehmt euch der Schwachen an, verfahrt mit Geduld gegen alle!
También os rogamos, hermanos, que amonestéis á los que andan desordenadamente, que consoléis á los de poco ánimo, que soportéis á los flacos, que seáis sufridos para con todos.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
