J’exhorte donc qu’avant toutes choses on fasse des requêtes, des prières, des supplications, et des actions de grâces pour tous les hommes ;

C’est dans cette vue que j’ai été établi Prédicateur, Apôtre ( je dis la vérité en Christ, je ne mens point), et Docteur des Gentils en la foi, et en la vérité.
De lo que yo soy puesto por predicador y apóstol, (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento) doctor de los Gentiles en fidelidad y verdad.
Where unto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Je veux donc que les hommes prient en tout lieu, levant leurs mains pures, sans colère, et sans dispute.

Mais qu’elles soient ornées de bonnes oeuvres, comme il est séant à des femmes qui font profession de servir Dieu.
Sino de buenas obras, como conviene á mujeres que profesan piedad.
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Que la femme apprenne dans le silence en toute soumission.
La mujer aprenda en silencio, con toda sujeción.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

Car je ne permets point à la femme d’enseigner, ni d’user d’autorité sur le mari ; mais elle doit demeurer dans le silence.
Porque no permito á la mujer enseñar, ni tomar autoridad sobre el hombre, sino estar en silencio.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Y Adam no fué engañado, sino la mujer, siendo seducida, vino á ser envuelta en transgresión:

Elle sera néanmoins sauvée en mettant des enfants au monde, pourvu qu’elle persévère dans la foi, dans la charité, et dans la sanctification, avec modestie.
Empero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y santidad, con modestia.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
