AMONESTO pues, ante todas cosas, que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones, hacimientos de gracias, por todos los hombres;

Ore dessa forma pelos reis e por todos os outros que exercem autoridade sobre nós ou que ocupam cargos de alta responsabilidade, a fim de que possamos viver em paz e tranquilidade, passando o nosso tempo vivendo piedosa e dignamente.
Por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad.
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Isto é bom e agrada a Deus, nosso Salvador.

Pois ele deseja que todos sejam salvos e compreendam esta verdade:

Há um só Deus e um só mediador entre Deus e os homens: o homem Cristo Jesus,
Porque hay un Dios, asimismo un mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Jesucristo hombre;

que deu a sua vida em resgate por toda a humanidade. Essa é a mensagem que no momento oportuno Deus entregou ao mundo.
El cual se dió á sí mismo en precio del rescate por todos, para testimonio en sus tiempos:
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,
E eu fui escolhido — isso é a pura verdade, pois não estou mentindo — como ministro e apóstolo de Deus, para ensinar essa verdade aos gentios, e mostrar-lhes o plano divino de salvação pela fé.
De lo que yo soy puesto por predicador y apóstol, (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento) doctor de los Gentiles en fidelidad y verdad.
Where unto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Assim, eu quero que em toda parte os homens orem com mãos santas erguidas para Deus, livres da ira e sem brigas.
Quiero, pues, que los hombres oren en todo lugar, levantando manos limpias, sin ira ni contienda.

E as mulheres sejam, do mesmo modo, calmas e sensatas nas atitudes e na maneira de se vestir, não pela maneira como arrumam o cabelo ou por causa das joias ou roupas extravagantes.
Asimismo también las mujeres, ataviándose en hábito honesto, con vergüenza y modestia; no con cabellos encrespados, ú oro, ó perlas, ó vestidos costosos,
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,
As mulheres cristãs devem ser notadas por suas boas obras e virtude, como devem ser as mulheres que dizem que são dedicadas a Deus!
Sino de buenas obras, como conviene á mujeres que profesan piedad.
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
As mulheres devem ouvir e aprender em silêncio e com toda a sujeição.
La mujer aprenda en silencio, con toda sujeción.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
Não permito que as mulheres ensinem aos homens ou tenham autoridade sobre eles. Que elas fiquem caladas nas reuniões da igreja.
Porque no permito á la mujer enseñar, ni tomar autoridad sobre el hombre, sino estar en silencio.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
Por quê? Porque primeiro Deus fez Adão, e depois fez Eva.
Porque Adam fué formado el primero, después Eva;
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
E não foi Adão quem foi enganado, mas sim Eva, e o resultado foi o pecado.
Y Adam no fué engañado, sino la mujer, siendo seducida, vino á ser envuelta en transgresión:
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
Mas a mulheres serão salvas dando à luz filhos — se elas permanecerem na fé, no amor e na santificação.
Empero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y santidad, con modestia.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
