En primer lugar quiero animarte a orar por todos: haz peticiones y agradece en nombre de ellos.
AMONESTO pues, ante todas cosas, que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones, hacimientos de gracias, por todos los hombres;

De este mismo modo ora por los reyes y por todo tipo de líderes, para que podamos tener una vida tranquila y pacífica, siempre pensando en Dios y tomando la vida con seriedad.
Por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad.
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Esto es bueno, y es lo que agrada a Dios, nuestro Salvador.

Porque él desea que todos seamos salvos y comprendamos la verdad.

Pues hay un Dios, y un mediador entre Dios y la humanidad, el hombre Cristo Jesús.

Él se entregó a fin de que todos pudiéramos ser rescatados nuevamente, demostrando la evidencia a su debido tiempo.
El cual se dió á sí mismo en precio del rescate por todos, para testimonio en sus tiempos:

Fui designado para compartir este mensaje y ser su mensajero, ser un maestro para los extranjeros sobre la fe en Dios y la verdad (no miento, digo la verdad).
De lo que yo soy puesto por predicador y apóstol, (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento) doctor de los Gentiles en fidelidad y verdad.
Where unto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Lo que realmente quiero es que los hombres en todas partes oren a Dios con sinceridad. ¡Sin enojos ni discusiones!
Quiero, pues, que los hombres oren en todo lugar, levantando manos limpias, sin ira ni contienda.

Del mismo modo, las mujeres deben vestir con prudencia, con modestia y apropiadamente. Deben ser atractivas pero no por su corte de cabello o por el uso de oro, perlas o ropas costosas,
Asimismo también las mujeres, ataviándose en hábito honesto, con vergüenza y modestia; no con cabellos encrespados, ú oro, ó perlas, ó vestidos costosos,
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

sino por las cosas buenas que hacen, como es apropiado en las mujeres que dicen seguir a Dios.
Sino de buenas obras, como conviene á mujeres que profesan piedad.
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Las mujeres deben aprender en silencio, respetando su lugar.
La mujer aprenda en silencio, con toda sujeción.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
Yo no permito que las mujeres sean instructoras, o que dominen a los hombres; háganlas permanecer en silencio.
Porque no permito á la mujer enseñar, ni tomar autoridad sobre el hombre, sino estar en silencio.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Pues Adán fue creado primero, y luego Eva.
Porque Adam fué formado el primero, después Eva;

Adán no fue engañado, pero Eva sí fue engañada por completo, y cayó en pecado.
Y Adam no fué engañado, sino la mujer, siendo seducida, vino á ser envuelta en transgresión:

No obstante, las mujeres serán salvadas por convertirse en madres, siempre y cuando sigan con fe y amor, y vivan vidas prudentes en santidad.
Empero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y santidad, con modestia.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
