1 Timoteo 6

Todos los que son siervos bajo el yugo dan toda la honra a sus amos, para que no se diga nada malo contra el nombre de Dios y su enseñanza.

TODOS los que están debajo del yugo de servidumbre, tengan á sus señores por dignos de toda honra, porque no sea blasfemado el nombre del Señor y la doctrina.

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

Y aquellos cuyos amos son creyentes, tengan respeto por ellos porque son hermanos, trabajando para ellos más fácilmente, porque aquellos que toman parte en el buen trabajo son de la fe y son queridos. exhorta y enseña sobre estas cosas.

Y los que tienen amos fieles, no los tengan en menos, por ser hermanos; antes sírvanles mejor, por cuanto son fieles y amados, y partícipes del beneficio. Esto enseña y exhorta.

And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

Si alguno enseña diferentes enseñanzas, no de acuerdo con las palabras verdaderas de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y con las enseñanzas que están de acuerdo con la verdadera religión,

Si alguno enseña otra cosa, y no asiente á sanas palabras de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y á la doctrina que es conforme á la piedad;

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

If anyone teaches a different doctrine and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

Él tiene una opinión altísima de sí mismo; está sin conocimiento, es como una enfermedad, siempre discutiendo controversias de preguntas y guerras de palabras, del cual vienen envidias, peleas, palabras crueles, pensamientos malvados,

Es hinchado, nada sabe, y enloquece acerca de cuestiones y contiendas de palabras, de las cuales nacen envidias, pleitos, maledicencias, malas sospechas,

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions,

Disputas perversas, de mentes corruptas que no conocen la verdad, y toman la religión como una forma de obtener ganancias.

Porfías de hombres corruptos de entendimiento y privados de la verdad, que tienen la piedad por granjería: apártate de los tales.

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such.

Pero gran ganancia es la santidad, con contentamiento.

Empero grande granjería es la piedad con contentamiento.

Porque nosotros hemos venido al mundo sin nada, y no podemos sacar nada cuando muramos;

Porque nada hemos traído á este mundo, y sin duda nada podremos sacar.

Pero si tenemos comida y un techo sobre nosotros, que sea suficiente.

Así que, teniendo sustento y con qué cubrirnos, seamos contentos con esto.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Pero aquellos que tienen un deseo de riqueza están cayendo en peligro, y son tomados como en una red por una cantidad de deseos necios y dañinos, a través de los cuales los hombres son alcanzados por la muerte y la destrucción.

Porque los que quieren enriquecerse, caen en tentación y lazo, y en muchas codicias locas y dañosas, que hunden á los hombres en perdición y muerte.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Porque la raíz de todos los males es el amor al dinero; y aquellos cuyos corazones estaban fijos en él, se apartaron de la fe y fueron heridos de innumerables dolores.

Porque el amor del dinero es la raíz de todos los males: el cual codiciando algunos, se descaminaron de la fe, y fueron traspasados de muchos dolores.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Pero tú, oh hombre de Dios, aléjate de estas cosas, y busca la justicia, la santidad, la fe, el amor, la paz, la conducta gentil.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Pelea la buena batalla de la fe; toma para ti la vida eterna, por la cual asimismo fuiste llamado, y de la cual diste testimonio a los ojos de todos.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Te doy órdenes delante de Dios, el dador de vida a todo lo que existe, y de Cristo Jesús, que también ante Poncio Pilato dio testimonio de la fe,

Que mantengas la palabra intacta de todo mal, clara de toda vergüenza, hasta la revelación de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

Que guardes el mandamiento sin mácula ni reprensión, hasta la aparición de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Que en el momento correcto mostrará, quién es el Bendito soberano eterno y único, Rey de reyes y Señor de señores;

La cual á su tiempo mostrará el Bienaventurado y solo Poderoso, Rey de reyes, y Señor de señores;

Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

which at the right time he will show, who is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Que solo tiene vida para siempre, viviendo en luz inaccesible ; a quien ningún hombre ha visto o puede ver: a quien sea honor y poder para siempre. Que así sea.

Quien sólo tiene inmortalidad, que habita en luz inaccesible; á quien ninguno de los hombres ha visto ni puede ver: al cual sea la honra y el imperio sempiterno. Amén.

Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Ordene a aquellos que tienen dinero y bienes en esta vida, que no sean altivos, ni que pongan su esperanza en las oportunidades inciertas de riqueza, sino en él Dios vivo que nos da todas las cosas en abundancia para que las disfrutemos;

A los ricos de este siglo manda que no sean altivos, ni pongan la esperanza en la incertidumbre de las riquezas, sino en el Dios vivo, que nos da todas las cosas en abundancia de que gocemos:

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

Y hacer el bien, que sean ricos en buenas obras, generosos,que estén dispuestos a compartir lo que tienen;

Que hagan bien, que sean ricos en buenas obras, dadivosos, que con facilidad comuniquen;

That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to share;

Preparándose un lugar seguro para el tiempo venidero, para que la vida verdadera sea suya.

Atesorando para sí buen fundamento para lo por venir, que echen mano á la vida eterna.

Oh Timoteo, cuídate bien de lo que te es dado, aléjate de las conversaciones y argumentos equivocados y tontos de ese conocimiento que es falsamente llamado ciencia;

Oh Timoteo, guarda lo que se te ha encomendado, evitando las profanas pláticas de vanas cosas, y los argumentos de la falsamente llamada ciencia:

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge,

A través del cual algunos, desviaron de la fe, se han apartado de la fe. La gracia estará contigo.

La cual profesando algunos, fueron descaminados acerca de la fe. La gracia sea contigo. Amén. La primera epístola á Timoteo fué escrita de Laodicea, que es metrópoli de la Frigia Pacatiana.
