También reconstruyó y reforzó los fuertes y estableció guarnición con tropas de soldados bajo el mando de sus oficiales; y allí almacenó alimentos, aceite de oliva y vino.

Fortificó también las fortalezas, y puso en ellas capitanes, y vituallas, y vino, y aceite;
