2 Crónicas 11

Roboam rentra donc à Jérusalem ; puis, il réunit Juda et Benjamin, cent quatre-vingt mille jeunes gens allant à la guerre, afin de combattre Israël, et de recouvrer la royauté pour Roboam.

Y COMO vino Roboam á Jerusalem, juntó la casa de Judá y de Benjamín, ciento y ochenta mil hombres escogidos de guerra, para pelear contra Israel y volver el reino á Roboam.

And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

When Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, one hundred eighty thousand chosen men who were warriors, to fight against Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

Mais, la parole du Seigneur vint à Samaïas, homme de Dieu ; disant :

Parle à Roboam, fils de Salomon, à tout Juda et à Benjamin, dis-leur :

Habla á Roboam hijo de Salomón, rey de Judá, y á todos los Israelitas en Judá y Benjamín, diciéndoles:

Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

“Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ne partez pas, ne combattez point vos frères les fils d'Israël, retournez chacun en votre demeure, car cette chose est de moi. Ils obéirent à la parole du Seigneur, et, selon son ordre, ils renoncèrent à marcher contre Jéroboam.

Así ha dicho Jehová: No subáis ni peleéis contra vuestros hermanos; vuélvase cada uno á su casa, porque yo he hecho este negocio. Y ellos oyeron la palabra de Jehová, y tornáronse, y no fueron contra Jeroboam.

Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

‘The LORD says, “You shall not go up, nor fight against your brothers! Every man return to his house; for this thing is of me.”’” So they listened to the LORD’s words, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

Et Roboam habita Jérusalem, et il bâtit des places fortes en Judée.

Y habitó Roboam en Jerusalem, y edificó ciudades para fortificar á Judá.

And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.

And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,

Adoraï, Lachis, Azéca,

Y á Adoraim, y á Lachîs, y á Acechâ,

And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,

Adoraim, Lachish, Azekah,

Saraa, Aïlon et Hébron, qui appartient à Juda et à Benjamin ; toutes villes qu'il entoura de remparts.

Y á Sora, y á Ajalón, y á Hebrón, que eran en Judá y en Benjamín, ciudades fuertes.

And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.

Et il les fortifia, et leur donna des chefs auxquels il assigna des vivres, de l'huile et du vin,

Fortificó también las fortalezas, y puso en ellas capitanes, y vituallas, y vino, y aceite;

And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.

Et il approvisionna chacune d'elles de lances et de boucliers, et il en multiplia les défenses ; et il eut à lui Juda et Benjamin.

And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.

Cependant, les prêtres et les lévites qui étaient en tout Israël, se rassemblaient auprès de lui de tous les points du territoire.

Y los sacerdotes y Levitas que estaban en todo Israel, se juntaron á él de todos sus términos.

And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.

Car, ils abandonnèrent leurs villes de résidence, et ils se rendirent en Juda et à Jérusalem, parce que Jéroboam et ses fils leur avaient ôté le service du Seigneur.

Porque los Levitas dejaban sus ejidos y sus posesiones, y se venían á Judá y á Jerusalem: pues Jeroboam y sus hijos los echaban del ministerio de Jehová.

For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD:

Et Jéroboam avait institué pour lui des prêtres des hauts lieux qui sacrifiaient aux idoles, aux choses vaines, aux veaux d'or, qu'avaient faits Jéroboam.

Y él se hizo sacerdotes para los altos, y para los demonios, y para los becerros que él había hecho.

And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.

Et il avait chassé des tribus d'Israël ceux qui dévouaient leur cœur à chercher le Seigneur Dieu d'Israël ; et ils vinrent à Jérusalem pour sacrifier au Seigneur Dieu de leurs pères.

Tras aquéllos acudieron también de todas las tribus de Israel los que habían puesto su corazón en buscar á Jehová Dios de Israel; y viniéronse á Jerusalem para sacrificar á Jehová, el Dios de sus padres.

And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Et ils affermirent le royaume de Juda, et Roboam, fils de Salomon, en fut fortifié pendant trois ans, parce qu'il marcha trois ans dans les voies de David et de Salomon.

Así fortificaron el reino de Judá, y confirmaron á Roboam hijo de Salomón, por tres años; porque tres años anduvieron en el camino de David y de Salomón.

And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;

Celle-ci lui enfanta des fils : Jéhu, Samoria et Zaam.

La cual le parió hijos: á Jeus, y á Samaria, y á Zaham.

Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.

Après cela, il épousa Maacha, fille d'Absalon, et elle lui enfanta Abias, Jetthi, Zéza et Salémoth.

Después de ella tomó á Maachâ hija de Absalom, la cual le parió á Abías, á Athai, Ziza, y Selomith.

And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.

After her, he took Maacah the granddaughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

Or, Roboam aima Maacha, fille d'Absalon, plus que toutes ses femmes et ses concubines, car il avait dix-huit femmes et soixante concubines ; il eut d'elles vingt-huit fils et soixante filles.

Mas Roboam amó á Maachâ hija de Absalom sobre todas sus mujeres y concubinas; porque tomó diez y ocho mujeres y sesenta concubinas, y engendró veintiocho hijos y sesenta hijas.

And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)

Et il fit Adias, fils de Maacha, chef de tous ses frères, car il avait dessein de lui laisser le trône.

Y puso Roboam á Abías hijo de Maachâ por cabeza y príncipe de sus hermanos, porque quería hacerle rey.

And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.

Et il le fortifia plus que tous ses autres fils dispersés sur tout le territoire de Juda et de Benjamin, dans les villes entourées de remparts où Roboam maintenait abondance de vivres, et où il leur fit épouser beaucoup de femmes.

E hízole instruir, y esparció todos sus hijos por todas las tierras de Judá y de Benjamín, y por todas las ciudades fuertes, y dióles vituallas en abundancia, y pidió muchas mujeres.

And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.
