Por ter Roboão se humilhado, a ira de Yahweh desviou-se dele, para não destruí-lo completamente. Além disso, em Judá, ainda havia algo bom a ser encontrado.

Y como él se humilló, la ira de Jehová se apartó de él, para no destruirlo del todo: y también en Judá las cosas fueron bien.

And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well.
