2 Crónicas 12

Lorsque Roboam eut affermi son royaume et acquis de la force, il abandonna la loi de Yahweh, et tout Israël avec lui.

Y COMO Roboam hubo confirmado el reino, dejó la ley de Jehová, y con él todo Israel.

And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.

La cinquième année du règne de Roboam, Sésac, roi d'Egypte, monta contre Jérusalem, — parce qu'ils avaient péché contre Yahweh, —

Y en el quinto año del rey Roboam subió Sisac rey de Egipto contra Jerusalem, (por cuanto se habían rebelado contra Jehová,)

Sémaïas le prophète vint auprès de Roboam et des chefs de Juda qui s'étaient réunis dans Jérusalem à l'approche de Sésac, et il leur dit : " Ainsi dit Yahweh : Vous m'avez abandonné ; moi aussi, je vous abandonne entre les mains de Sésac. "

Entonces vino Semeías profeta á Roboam y á los príncipes de Judá, que estaban reunidos en Jerusalem por causa de Sisac, y díjoles: Así ha dicho Jehová: Vosotros me habéis dejado, y yo también os he dejado en manos de Sisac.

Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

Quand Yahweh vit qu'ils s'humiliaient, la parole de Yahweh fut adressée à Sémaïas en ces termes : " Ils se sont humiliés, je ne les détruirai point ; dans un peu de temps je leur donnerai la délivrance, et ma colère ne se répandra pas sur Jérusalem par la main de Sésac.

Y como vió Jehová que se habían humillado, fué palabra de Jehová á Semeías, diciendo: Hanse humillado; no los destruiré; antes los salvaré en breve, y no se derramará mi ira contra Jerusalem por mano de Sisac.

Sésac, roi d'Egypte, monta contre Jérusalem ; il prit les trésors de la maison de Yahweh et les trésors de la maison du roi : il prit tout. Il prit les boucliers d'or que Salomon avait faits.

Subió pues Sisac rey de Egipto á Jerusalem, y tomó los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros de la casa del rey; todo lo llevó: y tomó los paveses de oro que Salomón había hecho.

A leur place, le roi Roboam fit des boucliers d'airain, et il les remit aux mains des chefs des coureurs qui gardaient l'entrée de la maison du roi.

Chaque fois que le roi allait à la maison de Yahweh, les coureurs venaient et les portaient ; et ils les rapportaient ensuite dans la chambre des coureurs.

Comme Roboam s'était humilié, la colère de Yahweh se détourna de lui, de sorte qu'il ne fut pas détruit entièrement ; et il y eut encore des choses bonnes en Juda.

Le roi Roboam s'affermit dans Jérusalem et régna. Il avait quarante et un ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna dix-sept ans à Jérusalem, ville que Yahweh avait choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël pour y mettre son nom. Sa mère s'appelait Naama, l'Ammonite.

Fortificado pues Roboam, reinó en Jerusalem: y era Roboam de cuarenta y un años cuando comenzó á reinar, y diecisiete años reinó en Jerusalem, ciudad que escogió Jehová de todas las tribus de Israel, para poner en ella su nombre. Y el nombre de su madre fué Naama Ammonita.

So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. Il fit le mal, parce qu'il n'appliqua pas son cœur à chercher Yahweh.

E hizo lo malo, porque no apercibió su corazón para buscar á Jehová.

And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.

Les actes de Roboam, les premiers et les derniers, ne sont-ils pas écrits dans les Paroles de Séméïas le prophète et dans celles d'Addo le voyant concernant les généalogies ? Il y eut toujours des guerres entre Roboam et Jéroboam.
