2 Crónicas 12

Or, quand Roboam eut organisé son royaume et s'y fut affermi, il abandonna les commandements du Seigneur, et tout le peuple suivit son exemple.

Y COMO Roboam hubo confirmado el reino, dejó la ley de Jehová, y con él todo Israel.

And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.

Et la cinquième année de son règne, parce qu'il avait péché contre le Seigneur, Susacim (Sésac), roi d'Égypte, marcha contre Jérusalem,

Y en el quinto año del rey Roboam subió Sisac rey de Egipto contra Jerusalem, (por cuanto se habían rebelado contra Jehová,)

And it came to pass, that in the fifth year of king Rehoboam Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD,

Et Samaïas le prophète alla trouver Roboam et les princes de Juda, qui s'étaient réunis à Jérusalem par crainte de Susacim, et il leur dit : Voici que dit le Seigneur : Vous m'avez abandonné, et moi je vous abandonnerai pour vous livrer à Susacim.

Entonces vino Semeías profeta á Roboam y á los príncipes de Judá, que estaban reunidos en Jerusalem por causa de Sisac, y díjoles: Así ha dicho Jehová: Vosotros me habéis dejado, y yo también os he dejado en manos de Sisac.

Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the princes of Judah, who were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “The LORD says, ‘You have forsaken me, therefore I have also left you in the hand of Shishak.’”

Et le roi et les chefs de Juda eurent honte, et ils dirent : Le Seigneur est juste.

Y los príncipes de Israel y el rey se humillaron, y dijeron: Justo es Jehová.

Quand le Seigneur vit qu'ils s'étaient repentis, la parole du Seigneur vint à Samaïas, disant : Ils se sont repentis, je ne les détruirai pas ; je leur accorderai comme une ombre de salut, et ma colère ne tombera pas sur Jérusalem.

Y como vió Jehová que se habían humillado, fué palabra de Jehová á Semeías, diciendo: Hanse humillado; no los destruiré; antes los salvaré en breve, y no se derramará mi ira contra Jerusalem por mano de Sisac.

And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

Et Susacim, roi d'Égypte, marcha contre Jérusalem ; il prit tous les trésors du temple du Seigneur, et tous les trésors du palais du roi, il prit tout ; il prit aussi les boucliers d'or qu'avait faits Salomon.

Subió pues Sisac rey de Egipto á Jerusalem, y tomó los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros de la casa del rey; todo lo llevó: y tomó los paveses de oro que Salomón había hecho.

(Le roi Roboam les remplaça par des boucliers d'airain). Et le roi Susacim mit au-dessus de lui des capitaines de ses gardes surveillant la porte du palais.

Y en lugar de ellos hizo el rey Roboam paveses de metal, y entrególos en manos de los jefes de la guardia, los cuales custodiaban la entrada de la casa del rey.

Instead of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king’s house.

Et lorsque le roi entrait dans le temple du Seigneur, les gardes y entraient aussi, et avec les coureurs ceux qui allaient à la rencontre des coureurs.

Y cuando el rey iba á la casa de Jehová, venían los de la guardia, y traíanlos, y después los volvían á la cámara de la guardia.

And when the king entered into the house of the LORD, the guard came and fetched them, and brought them again into the guard chamber.

Mais parce qu'il s'était repenti, le Seigneur détourna de lui sa colère, et il ne fut pas entièrement détruit ; car il y avait encore en Juda de bonnes pensées.

Y como él se humilló, la ira de Jehová se apartó de él, para no destruirlo del todo: y también en Judá las cosas fueron bien.

Et le roi Roboam se raffermit en Jérusalem et il régna ; il avait quarante et un ans quand il monta sur le trône, et il régna dix-sept ans à Jérusalem dans la ville que, parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, le Seigneur s'était choisie pour que son nom y fût invoqué ; sa mère, nommée Noomma, était Ammonite.

Fortificado pues Roboam, reinó en Jerusalem: y era Roboam de cuarenta y un años cuando comenzó á reinar, y diecisiete años reinó en Jerusalem, ciudad que escogió Jehová de todas las tribus de Israel, para poner en ella su nombre. Y el nombre de su madre fué Naama Ammonita.

So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess.

Et il fit le mal parce qu'il ne dirigea pas son cœur à la recherche de Dieu.

E hizo lo malo, porque no apercibió su corazón para buscar á Jehová.

And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.

He did that which was evil, because he didn’t set his heart to seek the LORD.

Quant aux discours de Roboam, les premiers et les derniers, et à ses actions, ne sont-ils pas écrits dans les Récits de Samaïas le prophète, et d'Addo le voyant ? Roboam fut toujours en guerre avec Jéroboam.

Y las cosas de Roboam, primeras y postreras, ¿no están escritas en los libros de Semeías profeta y de Iddo vidente, en la cuenta de los linajes? Y entre Roboam y Jeroboam hubo perpetua guerra.
