Und Abia entschlief mit seinen Vätern, und sie begruben ihn in der Stadt Davids; und Assa, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt. Zu des Zeiten war das Land stille zehn Jahre.

Empero se fortificó Abías; y tomó catorce mujeres, y engendró veintidós hijos, y dieciséis hijas.

But Abijah waxed mighty, and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.

But Abijah grew mighty and took for himself fourteen wives, and became the father of twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.
