Non dovreste voi sapere che l’Eterno, l’Iddio d’Israele, ha dato per sempre il regno sopra Israele a Davide, a Davide ed ai suoi figliuoli, con un patto inviolabile?

¿No sabéis vosotros, que Jehová Dios de Israel dió el reino á David sobre Israel para siempre, á él y á sus hijos en alianza de sal?

Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
