Und Abia rüstete sich zu dem Streit mit vierhunderttausend junger Mannschaft, starke Leute zum Kriege. Jerobeam aber rüstete sich, mit ihm zu streiten mit achthunderttausend junger Mannschaft, starke Leute.

A LOS dieciocho años del rey Jeroboam, reinó Abías sobre Judá.

Und Abia machte sich auf oben auf den Berg Zemaraim, welcher liegt auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, und sprach: Höret mir zu, Jerobeam, und das ganze Israel!

Wisset ihr nicht, daß der HERR, der Gott Israels, hat das Königreich zu Israel David gegeben ewiglich, ihm und seinen Söhnen einen Salzbund?

Entonces ordenó Abías batalla con un ejército de cuatrocientos mil hombres de guerra valerosos y escogidos: y Jeroboam ordenó batalla contra él con ochocientos mil hombres escogidos, fuertes y valerosos.

Und haben sich zu ihm geschlagen lose Leute und Kinder Belials und haben sich gestärket wider Rehabeam, den Sohn Salomos. Denn Rehabeam war jung und eines blöden Herzens, daß er sich vor ihnen nicht wehrete.

¿No sabéis vosotros, que Jehová Dios de Israel dió el reino á David sobre Israel para siempre, á él y á sus hijos en alianza de sal?

Nun denket ihr euch zu setzen wider das Reich des HERRN unter den Söhnen Davids, weil euer ein großer Haufe ist, und habt güldene Kälber, die euch Jerobeam für Götter gemacht hat.

und anzünden dem HERRN alle Morgen Brandopfer und alle Abend, dazu das gute Räuchwerk und bereitete Brote auf dem reinen Tisch; und der güldene Leuchter mit seinen Lampen, daß sie alle Abend angezündet werden. Denn wir behalten die Hut des HERRN, unsers Gottes; ihr aber habt ihn verlassen.

¿No echasteis vosotros á los sacerdotes de Jehová, á los hijos de Aarón, y á los Levitas, y os habéis hecho sacerdotes á la manera de los pueblos de otras tierras, para que cualquiera venga á consagrarse con un becerro y siete carneros, y así sea sacerdote de los que no son dioses?

Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.

Siehe, mit uns ist an der Spitze Gott und seine Priester und die Trommeten, zu trommeten, daß man wider euch trommete. Ihr Kinder Israel, streitet nicht wider den HERRN, eurer Väter Gott; denn es wird euch nicht gelingen.

Da sich nun Juda umwandte, siehe, da war vorne und hinten Streit. Da schrieen sie zum HERRN, und die Priester trommeteten mit Trommeten.
