Il fit disparaître les autels de l'étranger et les hauts-lieux, et il brisa les statues et abattit les aschères.

Porque quitó los altares del culto ajeno, y los altos; quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques;

For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
