pois ele removeu os altares estrangeiros e os lugares altos; ele derrubou as colunas de pedra e cortou os postes de Aserá.

Porque quitó los altares del culto ajeno, y los altos; quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques;

For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
