Hizo demoler los altares paganos que estaban en los cerros, y destruyó las piedras sagradas e hizo pedazos la vergonzosa imagen de la diosa Aserá.

Porque quitó los altares del culto ajeno, y los altos; quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques;

For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
