Und ersprach zu Juda: Lasset unsdiese Stadte bauen und Mauern darum her führen und Türme, Turen und Riegel, weil das Land noch vor uns ist; denn wir haben den HERRN, unsern Gott, gesucht, und er hat uns Ruhe gegeben umher. Also baueten sie, und ging glucklich vonstatten.

Y edificó ciudades fuertes en Judá, por cuanto había paz en la tierra, y no había guerra contra él en aquellos tiempos; porque Jehová le había dado reposo.

And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.
