et ils se heurtaient peuple contre peuple et ville contre ville, car Dieu les effrayait par toutes sortes d'angoisses.

Y la una gente destruía á la otra, y una ciudad á otra ciudad: porque Dios los conturbó con todas calamidades.

And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

They were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God troubled them with all adversity.
