Und auf Asarja, den Sohn Odeds, kam der Geist Gottes.

Y FUÉ el espíritu de Dios sobre Azarías hijo de Obed;

And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

Und er ging hinaus, Asa entgegen, und sprach zu ihm: Höret mich, Asa und ganz Juda und Benjamin! Jehova ist mit euch, wenn ihr mit ihm seid. Und wenn ihr ihn suchet, wird er sich von euch finden lassen; wenn ihr ihn aber verlasset, wird er euch verlassen.

Y salió al encuentro á Asa, y díjole: Oidme, Asa, y todo Judá y Benjamín: Jehová es con vosotros, si vosotros fuereis con él: y si le buscareis, será hallado de vosotros; mas si le dejareis, él también os dejará.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Und Israel war viele Tage ohne wahren Gott und ohne lehrenden Priester und ohne Gesetz;

aber in ihrer Bedrängnis kehrten sie um zu Jehova, dem Gott Israels; und sie suchten ihn, und er ließ sich von ihnen finden.

But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

Und in jenen Zeiten war kein Friede für den Ausgehenden und für den Eingehenden; sondern viele Unruhen kamen über alle Bewohner der Länder.

En aquellos tiempos no hubo paz, ni para el que entraba, ni para el que salía, sino muchas aflicciones sobre todos los habitadores de las tierras.

And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

Und es stieß sich Nation an Nation und Stadt an Stadt; denn Gott beunruhigte sie durch allerlei Bedrängnis.

And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

Ihr aber, seid stark und lasset eure Hände nicht erschlaffen, denn es gibt Lohn für euer Tun!

Esforzaos empero vosotros, y no desfallezcan vuestras manos; que salario hay para vuestra obra.

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

Und als Asa diese Worte und die Weissagung Odeds, des Propheten, hörte, faßte er Mut; und er schaffte die Greuel weg aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin und aus den Städten, die er vom Gebirge Ephraim eingenommen hatte, und er erneuerte den Altar Jehovas, der vor der Halle Jehovas stand.

Y como oyó Asa las palabras y profecía de Obed profeta, fué confortado, y quitó las abominaciones de toda la tierra de Judá y de Benjamín, y de las ciudades que él había tomado en el monte de Ephraim; y reparó el altar de Jehová que estaba delante del pórtico de Jehová.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

Und er versammelte ganz Juda und Benjamin und die Fremdlinge, die aus Ephraim und Manasse und aus Simeon bei ihnen lebten; denn in Menge liefen sie aus Israel zu ihm über, als sie sahen, daß Jehova, sein Gott, mit ihm war.

Después hizo juntar á todo Judá y Benjamín, y con ellos los extranjeros de Ephraim, y de Manasés, y de Simeón: porque muchos de Israel se habían pasado á él, viendo que Jehová su Dios era con él.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

Und sie schwuren Jehova mit lauter Stimme und mit Jauchzen und unter Trompeten-und Posaunenschall.

Y aun á Maachâ madre del rey Asa, él mismo la depuso de su dignidad, porque había hecho un ídolo en el bosque: y Asa deshizo su ídolo, y lo desmenuzó, y quemó en el torrente de Cedrón.

And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

Die Höhen aber wichen nicht aus Israel; doch das Herz Asas war ungeteilt alle seine Tage.

Und es war kein Krieg bis zum fünfunddreißigsten Jahre der Regierung Asas.

Y no hubo guerra hasta los treinta y cinco años del reinado de Asa.

And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

There was no more war to the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
