Und auf Asarja, den Sohn Odeds, kam der Geist Gottes.

Y FUÉ el espíritu de Dios sobre Azarías hijo de Obed;

And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

Der ging hinaus Asa entgegen und sprach zu ihm: Höret mir zu, Asa und ganz Juda und Benjamin. Der HERR ist mit euch, weil ihr mit ihm seid; und wenn ihr ihn sucht, wird er sich von euch finden lassen. Werdet ihr aber ihn verlassen, so wird er euch auch verlassen.

Y salió al encuentro á Asa, y díjole: Oidme, Asa, y todo Judá y Benjamín: Jehová es con vosotros, si vosotros fuereis con él: y si le buscareis, será hallado de vosotros; mas si le dejareis, él también os dejará.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Es werden aber viel Tage sein in Israel, daß kein rechter Gott, kein Priester, der da lehrt, und kein Gesetz sein wird.

Muchos días ha estado Israel sin verdadero Dios y sin sacerdote, y sin enseñador y sin ley:

Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

Und wenn sie sich bekehren in ihrer Not zum Herrn, dem Gott Israels, und werden ihn suchen, so wird er sich finden lassen.

Mas cuando en su tribulación se convirtieron á Jehová Dios de Israel, y le buscaron, él fué hallado de ellos.

But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

Zu der Zeit wird's nicht wohl gehen dem, der aus und ein geht; denn es werden große Getümmel sein über alle, die auf Erden wohnen.

En aquellos tiempos no hubo paz, ni para el que entraba, ni para el que salía, sino muchas aflicciones sobre todos los habitadores de las tierras.

And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

Denn ein Volk wird das andere zerschlagen und eine Stadt die andere; denn Gott wird sie erschrecken mit allerlei Angst.

Y la una gente destruía á la otra, y una ciudad á otra ciudad: porque Dios los conturbó con todas calamidades.

And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

They were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God troubled them with all adversity.

Ihr aber seid getrost und tut eure Hände nicht ab; denn euer Werk hat seinen Lohn.

Esforzaos empero vosotros, y no desfallezcan vuestras manos; que salario hay para vuestra obra.

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded.”

Da aber Asa hörte diese Worte und die Weissagung Odeds, des Propheten, ward er getrost und tat weg die Greuel aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin uns aus den Städten, die er gewonnen hatte auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, und erneuerte den Altar des HERRN, der vor der Halle des HERRN stand,

Y como oyó Asa las palabras y profecía de Obed profeta, fué confortado, y quitó las abominaciones de toda la tierra de Judá y de Benjamín, y de las ciudades que él había tomado en el monte de Ephraim; y reparó el altar de Jehová que estaba delante del pórtico de Jehová.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

und versammelte das ganze Juda und Benjamin und die Fremdlinge bei ihnen aus Ephraim, Manasse und Simeon. Denn es fielen zu ihm aus Israel die Menge, als sie sahen, daß der HERR, sein Gott, mit ihm war.

Después hizo juntar á todo Judá y Benjamín, y con ellos los extranjeros de Ephraim, y de Manasés, y de Simeón: porque muchos de Israel se habían pasado á él, viendo que Jehová su Dios era con él.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

Und sie versammelten sich gen Jerusalem im dritten Monat des fünfzehnten Jahres des Königreichs Asas

Juntáronse pues en Jerusalem en el mes tercero del año décimoquinto del reinado de Asa.

So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

und opferten desselben Tages dem HERRN von dem Raub, den sie gebracht hatten, siebenhundert Ochsen und siebentausend Schafe.

Y en aquel mismo día sacrificaron á Jehová, de los despojos que habían traído, setecientos bueyes y siete mil ovejas.

And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

und wer nicht würde den HERRN, den Gott Israels, suchen, sollte sterben, klein oder groß, Mann oder Weib.

Y que cualquiera que no buscase á Jehová el Dios de Israel, muriese, grande ó pequeño, hombre ó mujer.

That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

Und sie schwuren dem HERRN mit lauter Stimme, mit Freudengeschrei, mit Drommeten und Posaunen.

Y juraron á Jehová con gran voz y júbilo, á son de trompetas y de bocinas:

And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

Und das ganze Juda war fröhlich über dem Eide; denn sie hatten geschworen von ganzen Herzen, und suchten ihn mit ganzem Willen. Und er ließ sich finden, und der HERR gab ihnen Ruhe umher.

Del cual juramento todos los de Judá se alegraron; porque de todo su corazón lo juraban, y de toda su voluntad lo buscaban: y fué hallado de ellos; y dióles Jehová reposo de todas partes.

And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

Auch setzte Asa, der König, ab Maacha, seine Mutter, daß sie nicht mehr Herrin war, weil sie der Ascherah ein Greuelbild gestiftet hatte. Und Asa rottete ihr Greuelbild aus und zerstieß es und verbrannte es am Bach Kidron.

Y aun á Maachâ madre del rey Asa, él mismo la depuso de su dignidad, porque había hecho un ídolo en el bosque: y Asa deshizo su ídolo, y lo desmenuzó, y quemó en el torrente de Cedrón.

And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

Also Maacah, the mother of Asa the king, he removed from being queen mother, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; so Asa cut down her image, ground it into dust, and burned it at the brook Kidron.

Aber die Höhen in Israel wurden nicht abgetan; doch war das Herz Asas rechtschaffen sein Leben lang.

Und es war kein Streit bis an das fünfunddreißigste Jahr des Königreichs Asas.

Y no hubo guerra hasta los treinta y cinco años del reinado de Asa.

And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

There was no more war to the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
